Victo Ngai Firebird Ballet Poster Release

Black Dragon Press are very excited to release brand new screenprinted posters for Igor Stravinski's ’Firebird’ by the wonderful Victo Ngai as part of their Ballet Classics series art directed by Nicolas Delort.

The poster comes in two colorways. An Enchanted Variant from a limited edition of 100 copies and an Infernal Variant from a limited edition of just 50 copies. Both editions come hand numbered and include an embossed certificate of authenticity signed by the artist and will cost £120 for the first 24 hours and £150 thereafter.

Victo Ngai's Three Colours Trilogy Poster Release

Black Dragon Press are delighted to reveal the third and final poster in Victo Ngai's 'Three Colours Trilogy' set. In 'Three Colours: Red' we see Victo round off the series with style and elegance, and that truly magical use of color. Black Dragon Press couldn't be happier with how the trilogy works together. A fitting tribute to Kieslowski's work.

Black Dragon Press are delighted to announce the release of the first installment in a series of licensed alternative movie posters celebrating the work of cult director Andrei Tarkovsky, Victo Ngai’s SOLARIS.

Art directed by Nicolas Delort, these illustrations beautifully capture the sense of awe and beauty in Tarkovsky’s work, and they’re very excited to offer these to you.

Victo Ngai Up From The Well Print On Sale

Tiny Showcase have released a cool looking print this week from Victo Ngai. Originally commissioned by This American Life to celebrate their 500th episode.
"Up From The Well" is an edition of 250 prints by Victo Ngai. With a small border for framing, the print is sized to fit a standard 8" by 10" frame. The archival print was created by Tiny Showcase and ships with a corresponding certificate of authenticity. The archival artwork has been printed on a heavy 290gsm natural white print making paper made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton.
212 available for purchase in an edition of 250 prints.

Victo has chosen Houston's Shaggy Dog Rescue as her artwork's charity. The Shaggy Dog Rescue an animal welfare organization dedicated to providing rescue services, vet care, foster care, and adoptive placement to stray and abandoned shaggy dogs. $250 from the sale of Victo's artwork will be donated to the organization.
