Huck Gee Faith No More Los Angeles Poster Night 3 World Premiere Exclusive

No comments:

For their last night in Los Angeles Faith No More got a poster by an artist that does not normally do rock posters, Huck Gee. His work is usually seen flying around on Ken Block's car or as in this poster the form of a robot or other original character he has created.

There will be about 100 posters signed by the band for sale at the show tonight.

The regular edition poster is signed & numbered edition of 115. There is also a foil variant edition of 20.

SGT Hicks - "R&R" print by Huck Gee on sale

No comments:

Huck has finally finished the next print in his Colonial Life series, and it's quite huge... the UTCMC Sgt Hicks R&R print. Hicks is getting in quite late (or is that early?) to his lakeside retreat. Salvaged from a downed Nrezatarian Class Cruiser, I think he's cleaned the place up quite nicely. Each is printed on fine art watercolor paper (225gs), 24"x12" (26"x14"), signed, and gold embossed in the top left corner with the print #. Limited edition run of 99 prints, $75 per print.

So, any and all interested in purchasing this print, please email sales@huckgee.com and be sure to include your Paypal address, your shipping address and a list of what merchandise you would like to purchase (if more than just the print)

HUCK GEE New Site! New Store! New Giveaway!

No comments:

*Spike shown here with his 20" counterparts for pure awesomeness

From Huck:

Okay, talk about being long overdue but here it is, finally.... Huck has a new website! Integrated store, gallery feed, news, updates, even a webmaster! You know, a real gosh darn website. And we've also integrated all of Huck's Moshpop Clothing here. Consolidate, consolidate, consolidate.

To coincide with the new website and store we are going to hold a raffle for one of Huck's custom figures. We have one last Spike that's been hanging out, waiting for a special occasion to be unleashed. So here's the deal... for every $25 spent in our store between now and Friday, November 6th your name will be entered into the raffle. No limit to how many times you can enter, every $25 spent gets you another raffle ticket and gives you another chance to win. The more you buy, the more chances you have of winning. We'll throw all these names into a hat and will announce the winner via video feed on Monday, November 9th.

How's that sound? :)

Sgt. Vasquez - the "R&R" print - rerelease by Huck Gee

No comments:

From Huck:

Okay folks, some asshat in Amsterdam bought 50 prints and backed out of the payment. It took us several weeks to go through the sales fee refund process via Ebay (boy are we finally glad to pull out of that store). Anyways, we now have everything sorted out, so here we go again, the official rerelease of the Sgt. Vasquez print!

Huck actually started this print back in January and due to creative frustrations and a busy schedule the print was set aside several times over the better part of the last year. It has grown to become a much deeper project than originally envisioned. Huck finally put pencil back to paper (and pen back to tablet) last month and hammered through the finishing details. So here we go, we present Sgt. Vasquez on "R&R". Looking decidedly bitter, debatably unrelaxed, and unenthusiastically unentertained by some UTCSO Clonettes. Read into this what you will...

On sale now. Each is printed on fine art watercolor paper (225gs), 18"x12.75" (21"x15.75"), signed, and gold embossed in the top right corner with the print #. Limited edition run of 99 prints, $75 per print.

Fully Visual x Huck Gee "Skullhead #1" Big hunkin paperweight of doom!

No comments:

Huck and Fully Visual have joined forces again on a new metal project. This time around comes the classic Skullhead in four editions -- gold (25 pcs), antique silver(25 pcs), antique copper(25 pcs) and antique brass(25 pcs). They drop tomorrow Tuesday, 9.29.09 @ 11 AM PDT in the Fully Visual store for $130 each. These pieces are large -- for comparison's sake, they are about three times larger than the first modernized Skullhead metal figure from Fully Visual, almost a pound and as big as a baseball.

Huck Gee x Fresh - Aswang Puto - She Vampire

No comments:

This bloody she-vampire is Aswang Puto -- Huck Gee's next resin figure collab with Fresh Manila. The figure concept is based around the Philippino Aswang vampiric myth. Very nice shape -- sexy with a hint of evil -- luscious paint job as well.

No comments:

As a follow up to Huck Gee’s Minosu Ushi-Oni & The Golden Bull I just spied a couple cool photos from “the making of” on Huck’s Flickr. The Golden Bull is an original vinyl sculpt by Huck and the yoke is made of walnut.

Whoever dropped the coin on this got a very special piece.

Huck Gee’s Seated Munny: Minosu Ushi-Oni & The Golden Bull on sale details

No comments:

Remember our little seated Munny prank last week? Huck Gee’s Taurus was just posted on the Kidrobot Forums (thanks Justin!). It’s like a Munny/Labbit mash-up in regal goldtones and woodgrain. Awesome, of course. I just refreshed my inbox and here’s the full info from Huck:

The Legend of Minosu Ushi-Oni & The Golden Bull

We revisit the Gold Life world once again this week to revisit everyone’s favorite bull headed, golden armored, hammer wielding, skull crushing beastie: the legendary Minosu Ushi-Oni. According to mythos, Minosu patrols the massive labyrinth-like grounds of the Glorious Soaring Munk’s secret mountain retreat, perched atop his mega-mammoth-ian mount, The Golden Bull. Armor fitted, gear packed, flag mounted, and drum strapped… he’s all set for the harsh job ahead.

Each set of figures is numbered, signed, and comes with shown accessories. Due to the nature of the materials, some differences should be expected in each set. 10 sets of figures in this edition, $1500 each set.

Try hard to get one this Friday, April 10th, 2009 at Noon PST at Huck’s eBay store.

Kidrobot and Huck Gee Release SEATED Munnys

No comments:
OK, hang onto your seats, literally. I just stumbled upon the next incarnation of “The Greatest Do It Yourself Toy.” The Seated Munny photo above was accidentally leaked with some other images. At first Huck Gee denied any knowledge of the Seated Munny. But after some interrogation, he cracked and admitted to redesigning Kidrobot’s Munny as a subtle dig on current events like AIG and their misuse of taxpayer’s money. Basically, he’s not taking the matter sitting down. So in signature Huck style, he created the Seated Munny. Expect to see this piece sometime in the next couple months. Rumor has it that a few KR stores are giving away prototypes, so run down and tell them Huck Gee sent you!
