Shepard Fairey High Flyin’ Bird Neil Young Poster Release Details

Obey Giant is set to release the fifth Shepard Fairey posters from the Neil Young Americana Box Set of posters. The set of 12 posters were first released a couple weeks ago and sold out fast. Each poster was created based on a song from the album.

High Flyin Bird is 18 x 24 inch screen print.  Signed and numbered edition of 450.  The first 200 are included in the Americana box set series.

John Dunivant x Brett Carson Theatre Bizarre Print On Sale Today

Returning for his 9th RUN, 1xRUN welcomes back John Dunivant. This time the architect of Theatre Bizarre is behind the camera as he and TB co-conspirator Brett Carson focus their photographic eye to capture a now frozen moment. Shown here we see the Theatre Bizarre Main Stage just as it stood the night after the 2009 event concluded. This would be the last time Theatre Bizarre main stage would sit at the original site near the Michigan State Fairgrounds, by order of the City of Detroit the grounds including the main stage were torn down earlier this year.

So while things have changed, Theatre Bizarre will again return this year as the 2012 incarnation has arrived.The Summoning has begun. To usher in the next chapter of the world's greatest masquerade, architect John Dunivant and the legions of Theatre Bizarre faithful will again take over the Masonic Temple for this year's event on October 20th, 2012. Luke Howard Stars Poster Release Details

Luke Howard just finished up a poster for Stars, they played this weekend in Nashville, I bet they did not walk off the stage like Jack White did Saturday night. Posters will be on sale in his shop http://lukehoward.bigcartel.com on Monday October 1 at Noon EDT.

This illustration really took me forever to get right, I think mostly because I did a lot of experimenting with creating new photoshop brushes. I ended up using my Wacom tablet + the new brushes to airbrush in the fades on the characters and the moon eclipse thing. But even getting the composition right was a struggle.- Luke Howard
