The guys from DKNG Studios are fan’s of San Diego’s own Slightly Stoopid as well as their touring partners Atmosphere, so they were stoked to be asked to create a poster for their show at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California. Inspired by San Diego surf culture and Dia De Los Muertos imagery, they decided on an ornate octopus and surfboard as fitting iconography for the show.
This poster is a bit of a departure for DKNG as it’s just a one color print, but what makes it a bit more unique is the gold leaf stock on which it’s printed. The poster is 18 x 24 and they only have an artist edition of 30 signed and numbered for sale at a random time today in their store.
