Since we first came up with the idea of an area code themed show, I have been excited about having a print release for NYC! My almost home for 2 years (I lived across the bridge in Jersey) it has an energy like nowhere else I have ever been and I feel like this print exactly captures an aspect of NY I rarely see: the day time, day to day life and humanity of New York. Most prints go for the tourist attractions, or the city that never sleeps feel but I am so in love with how Kati has captured the domestic feeling of nesting in an island with 1.6 million close friends.Artist: Kati Lacker
