Arsenal Handicraft Slapshop Poster

No comments:

Arsenal Handicraft recently made an away jersey variant of their Slapshot inspired poster.
It is inspired by the scene from the film where Reg Dunlop (Paul Newman) is critiquing the design of the latest Charlestown Chiefs poster. They took his suggestions and designed the poster as he would have wanted. Christina and Dennis of Arsenal both play hockey and absolutely love this film.

It is a three color screen print, measures 16" x 20", has an edition of 185, and is priced at $40.

It's on sale now in the Arsenal Handicraft shop here.

Arsenal Handicraft Pond Hockey Print

No comments:

Arsenal Handicraft just released a new pond hockey themed screen print. Christina (who has won our Fantasy Football League 3 years straight) and Dennis (who both run AH) both play hockey and they’ve wanted to do a hockey themed print for a while. Growing up near a pond meant playing hours of shinny hockey with your buddies. Back then, they spent more time in skates than shoes, and didn't have a care in the world.

The print is a four color screen print, measures 16” x 20”, has an edition of 85 and is priced at $40.00. It is now available in our shop here.

Check out the video of making the print.

There is certainly a diverse readership when it comes to guitar favorites. Rough count looks like Jimi Hendrix won as the favorite and I could not agree more.

Now the real winner is Zach Miller with comment #17 and I will be honest I have no clue who Matty Pop Charts is at all. I Googled him but did not bother to listen.

Zach email me your address and Arsenal Handicraft will be shipping your print to you.

Thanks to everyone that entered and big THANKS to Arsenal Handicraft for providing the print. Head over to their website http://arsenalhandicraft.com/ and see all their work.

Arsenal Handicraft We Never Grow Tired Of Each Other Print Release

No comments:

Arsenal Handicraft just released a new glow in the dark screen print, titled "We Never Grow Tired Of Each Other, the Mountain and I" in their shop. It is a 16" x 20" four color screen print (including two glow in the dark in colors), has an edition of 180, and is priced at $50. They're also running a bit of a sale where customers can use the coupon code "GLOW" in their shop to receive $10 off of any print (not just on the new print) through Memorial Day.

The print was inspired by imagery of early 19th-century mountaineers that they stumbled across while researching another project. Arsenal Handicraft wanted to create a print that depicted both struggle and peace.

"A mountaineer carefully makes his way to a familiar spot, his usual retreat in a rocky refuge. As night falls, he makes camp and then settles in to log his thoughts on paper."

Arsenal Handicraft Grandpa's Lures & Grandpa's Bobbers Prints

No comments:

Spring is trying real hard to break us free from the grips of another crazy winter and in no time people will out there fishing. Arsenal Handicraft figured this was a good time to release two prints called "Grandpa's Lures" and "Grandpa's Bobbers".  Perfect to add a little something special to that cabin.

Dennis of Arsenal Handicraft was inspired by the contents of his Grandfather's tackle box, who sadly passed away before Dennis was born. He sorted, photographed, and then illustrated each lure for these prints. Dennis fell in love with how some of them were hand made by him and how they show wear from years of use.

Each print measures 11" x 14", is a four color hand pulled screen print, and is available for $25.00 each or $45.00 for the set.

Arsenal Handicraft The Last Days of Summer Print for Artcrank Detroit

No comments:

This past weekend Artcrank came to Detroit for the first time at the Shinola headquarters and Arsenal Handicraft created a stunning print for the show. The print is called "The Last Days of Summer"  It is a three color screen print on French Banana Split Paper.  It measures 16" x 20", has an edition of 30, and is priced at $50.

The back story to the print is:
When we were younger, a bike symbolized freedom. Especially in Michigan, bike time meant summertime, no school, and late nights. By its very nature, riding a bike is something you must do alone and it’s part of finding your independence.

This boy’s feet took him once again to a familiar window. But the days were getting shorter now. I think she was waiting for him this time, leaning a little further out of her window. School would be starting soon.
The print is available in the Arsenal Handicraft shop here: http://arsenalhandicraft.com/products
