I was interested in transforming a common symbol and molding it out with living creatures, human content. At first I was going to make an infinity symbol and then later felt that a heart had more of an emotional charge. I then developed a sketch that I felt worked with both figures conversing although they were turned away." - Jose Mertz

Godmachine Alien Vs Predator Glow in Dark Print World Premier Exclusive

This Friday Bottleneck Gallery in New York is having the show poster and print fans have wanted for years. When The Lights Go Out is all about glow in the dark art and black light reactive ink. Leave it to Bottleneck to come up with the show no one else has yet.

So it what else glows green under the right light ? Yep Alien "blood" and Predator fluid.... Who else would you have do a poster after having done a couple incredible posters already with them ?

Mudhoney San Diego poster by Gumball Designs

If you are going to the Mudhoney show next Saturday in San Diego you are going to have a sweet poster for the show. Gumball Designs created the poster and here is what Ben said about it :

Was an absolute honour to get to create a gig poster for these guys as I have been a huge fan since the 90's where my now wife and I first met at one of our countries first travelling music festivals "The Big Day Out" in our early teens!

Dancin Homer Poster by Dave Perillo New Simpsons Series of Art

Germaine Lussier at /Film broke the news yesterday of Acme Direct landing the rights to the last great untapped pop culture art source, The Simpsons.

The first of Acme Archives‘ ongoing series of officially licensed Simpsons screenprints is Dancin’ Homer by Dave Perillo. It’s a 12 x 24 print in an edition of 250, and it goes on sale Tuesday April 9 at a random time.
