Matt Leunig String Cheese Incident Atlanta and Asheville Poster Release

The String Cheese Incident hit up Asheville, NC & Atlanta, GA for this years big 4th of July bash and had Matt Leunig do the poster for the shows. 4 Nights spread throughout 2 cities ending outdoors at the beautiful Chastain Park Amphitheater. Hula hoops, fireworks, blue ridge mountains & warm sweaty, sweaty nights.. sound like a good time.

Since the shows were so close to each other, Matt and the band wanted to carry over the Patriotic fever of the holiday, both shows were combined for one poster. Matt knew he wanted to have something big & colorful exploding in the sky, surrounded by fireworks.

The poster is 18′ x 24′, 6-colors and has a print run of 425…. printed by the rad folks at Good Thoughts (Boulder, CO). Matt will have a run of about 30 Artist Edition prints (signed/AP) available on Wednesday, July 6th at 11AM PDT over on http://scrapedknee.com

This is an extremely proud moment for Tiny Bird Press. Over the past year Rob Schwager taught his 13-year-old daughter Evelyn the fundamentals of design and screen printing. To watch her artistic style develop has been indescribable for him as a father. Half Hazard Press Ray LaMontagne and Guided By Voices Posters

Half Hazard Press has 3 new posters for sale.

The first is for Ray LaMontagne, and his recent show in Philadelphia, PA. This is an 18”x24”, 3-color screen print with an AP edition of 40. These are going for $40 each.

The second is for Guided by Voices and their show in Champaign, IL. This is a 12.5”x25”, 3-color screen print, selling from an original run of 100 with approximately 25 available. These are going for $35 each.

Maxx242 and Brandon Heart 311 Las Vegas Posters World Premiere

Artist Edition Colorways

311 are in Las Vegas for two shows at Mandalay Beach at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino that includes fireworks and one crazy ass party.

Maxx242 and Brandon Heart did the posters for the shows. Night 1 & 2 regular prints are numbered out of 211. There are also around 25 cut foil variants & 25 uncut foil variants each day.

There are 2 merch stands, inside and outside. Inside location is in Mandalay Bay across from the Event Center entrance & Starbucks opens at 1pm local time.

Posters will be split 60/40 between inside & outside stand.  Both night 1 & 2 regular editions will be avail starting today. Tubes will be for sale, including some 4x26 that can accommodate the uncut foils.

Sam Chivers Rossum's Universal Robots Poster Release

Black Dragon Press are delighted to release ROSSUM’S UNIVERSAL ROBOTS (R.U.R.) by Sam Chivers. R.U.R. is a brilliant little science fiction play by the Czech writer Karel Čapek. It premiered in 1921 and is credited with introducing the word “robot” to the English language and to science fiction as a whole. Sam Chivers’ piece is both fun and theatrical and reminds folks of Czech Modernism whilst still being undoubtedly his.
