Rich Kelly was recently hired to make a poster for one of Dave Matthews Band London shows. It's a bit of a stylistic departure for Rich.

Rich on the design "I attempted to really focus on the design/shape of everything and less on the drawing. I'm pretty thrilled with how it came out and you can expect more of this kind of thing in the future."

Rich Kelly The Beatles 1962 Art Prints

Rich Kelly has hit the ground running in the new year. According to Rich "There are quite a few fun projects in the hopper and I'm pretty eager to share them with the world."

Which brings us to these 1962 portraits of the Fab Four. What began as a style experiment coincided with a revisiting of the entire Beatles catalogue, and before Rich knew it he had what you see before you now.

These will be available in a 48 hour timed edition. The museum quality giclee prints will measure 8" x 10", and will be signed and numbered. You can purchase them individually or discounted in a set.

Rich Kelly Dave Matthews Band Charlotte Poster Release

The year is 1799. In a creek near his family's North Carolina farm, a 12-year-old boy named Conrad Reed discovers a 17 lb gold nugget. Unaware of the rock's value, his father used it as a doorstop for years before selling it for a grand total of $3.50. This discovery was the first documented commercial gold find in the United States and would set the table for the much more famous California Gold Rush of 1849.

So anyway, therein lies the inspiration for this Dave Matthews Band poster that was created by Rich Kelly for their recent Charlotte show. The poster is a Four color screenprint that measures 18" x 24". Signed and numbered Artist Edition of 35.
