Disney Nothing's Impossible Mondo Poster Sale

4 comments:

Mondo will be releasing ALL remaining posters from their recent gallery show, "Nothing's Impossible," with Disney. With 31 or so posters plus a few wood variants it's hard to say what will make it online. I posted some of my favorites above. If you want to see them all go HERE

On sale Tuesday at a random time at Mondotees.com. Butthurt to follow soon after.

Post sale Opinion: I think this online sale was handled very poorly by Mondo. Why not let your customers know which posters are actually going to be on sale online ? That is just good customer service.

They dropped the posters in batches, good idea. But if you can only afford 1 or 2 posters but you would love to get others if the ones you really want are not on sale. You wait until the end hoping to see the posters you really want but find out they never made it online for sale and then your second choice posters sold out therefore you got nothing you wanted and wasted your time. Communicating with your customers is one of the fundamentals of good service.

Brandon Holt Warhorse Print On Sale Today

No comments:

Earlier this year, Minneapolis artist Brandon Holt spent a few days working in-house at Oakland CA's Warhorse Tattoo. Burlseque Design sent Brandon off with a short run of two-color screenprints to have with him at the shop while he was working there. After returning from The Bay Area, Brandon assembled a NINE color version of the same artwork. It's truly a beast and they are beyond excited to be sharing it with you TODAY. Not only is this thing intricately-illustrated and printed in 9 colors, but it is HUGE and bursting with metallic inks.

Warhorse is  24 x 32" 9 color screenprint on French Speckletone Sand (4 of the colors are metallic), signed and numbered edition of 120 prints, screenprinted by Ben LaFond

On sale at a random time today HERE

Poster by Phantom City Creative. 24"x36" screen print. Hand numbered. Edition of 150

This past weekend at the Mondo Gallery in Austin, they opened our newest exhibit celebrating the world of EC COMICS and TALES FROM THE CRYPT. Mondo feels it's only fair to share the scares with those of you who couldn't attend. Tomorrow they will be unleashing the few remains from the show which include posters from Ken Taylor, Gary Pullin, Florian Bertmer, Brandon Holt, Phantom City Creative, Francesco Francavilla

For those who purchase Brandon Holt's TALES FROM THE CRYPT poster, they will randomly insert a few special versions in which Brandon has sketched on in the lower border.

What Brandon had to say about his poster:

Based off of the cover Jack Davis did for the story" The Telescope".. it was the first comic book I ever bought when I was knee high. No joke. I still think about the rat on the cover of that comic whenever I draw one to this day. Jack Davis and Graham Ingels (another ec comic artist) had a huge impact on me when I was a youngster and still today.
These posters will be available online at a random time on Tuesday, October 29th at Mondotees.com
