New Flesh Fury Movie Poster Release

NE of New Flesh is releasing a new movie poster on Wednesday.

He talks about the movie and the poster:

Tomorrow (Wednesday) I am releasing a print for a movie I am not sure how many people have seen. FURY is a fantastic WWII movie about an American tank crew in 1945 Germany. It is intense, harrowing and beautiful in my option. If you have not see it give it a watch.With this print I took a slightly different approach with the art. It has kind of a lobby card vibe and wanted to give it a classic color scheme. It has been a least four years since I have printed with split fountain layers and there is no time like the present. With this poster I tried to invoke the themes of the movie with a single melancholy image.

Poster has an edition of 45 signed & numbered.
24”x18” Hand printed screen print that is 3 layers (2 split fountains) on #100 French Whitewash. Note because of the split fountains, each print is slightly unique.

It is October again and that means Halloween and another New Flesh anniversary! This is their 6th year and to celebrate they dropped a print for their namesake VIDEODROME (at 2011 prices to boot)! New Flesh Star Wars, Jaws and Donnie Darko Posters Release

New Flesh have two new handbill sets dropping Tuesday! One is Inspired by JAWS and the other is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Star Wars A New Hope. For the Star Wars set he went with a Tatooine theme with the character selection coming from the first 12 Kenner figures from 1978.

NE thought about waiting to drop the JAWS set until next month but it may be better to save everyone some money with the combined shipping. On Tuesday there will be both sets and the original inks for the handbills and an A/P of each the Regular and Variant of the Donnie Darko commission print he did last year.

New Flesh Rogue One Handbill Print Sets Release

With this release, New Flesh is doing something that he has wanted to do for ages by introducing a handbill series. Because of the handbill size, you can easily create a collage on a wall or kept in a portfolio. Reminiscent of collector's sets he use to dig as a kid, the intention is to sell them as a collection (a "collect them all" type of deal) which is why he wants to call this proposed series, "Ages 4 and Up."

Hero Complex Gallery Pop Compendium at New York Comic Con

Hero Complex Gallery had a great time hanging with their fans last year and are super excited to be back in NY with some of their artist friends for NYCC 2016!

I asked NE about the print:

The story on the print is that I have always had a real fascination about space. It is wondrous and seemingly infinite and scary. The truth is, anything can really be out there. I feel people at there core are explorers and are always seeking the unknown. I tried to convey that sense of wonder with the imagery of the astronaut floating apart from the capsule.
