Drew Struzan Back to the Future Movie Poster Release

Hero Complex Gallery is thrilled to offer one final release for 2017, a timed release for Drew Struzan's Back to the Future artwork, now being offered as screen prints for the very first time!

At the outset, they knew they needed to make certain that any screen prints they produced would have to be the absolute best representations of Drew's original artwork to live up to the legendary status this poster has achieved over the past thirty plus years.

Working from scans of the original painting, it was paramount for them to achieve the top level of fidelity of detail, as well as color accuracy, so HCG worked directly with Drew to approve all color palette decisions before printing, then conducted multiple screen print tests to assure the best quality prints possible...and the results are simply breathtaking.

Seeing these prints in person is like seeing the artwork in a whole new light...the vibrancy of the color palette plays at the artwork's original brightness in these newly screen printed posters, making them come alive on the page. If you look at the image above you'll see the beautiful blues play in a way you've probably never seen before, and the vibrancy in person is even more than they could have hoped for.... Ise Ananphada Pan's Labyrinth and Craig Drake AJ Frena Benefit Print From Hero Complex Gallery

Hero Complex Gallery has released a stunning poster by Ise Ananphada featuring the movie Pan's Labyrinth. It's a 11 color screen print measuring 24x36 inches with an edition of 425.

Craig Drake Benefit Print-Supporting fellow artist, AJ Frena 100% of Proceeds to go to AJ's fight against Cancer.

Details on how HCG and Craig Drake are helping:

It is with huge sadness and our love for our good artist friend, AJ Frena, that we have to report that she has received some bad news. AJ was admitted to the hospital in late April after a massive growth was discovered, and within a few days went through surgery to remove two malignant tumors that had been growing inside her for more than 6 months. Within a week AJ was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and has been going through chemotherapy treatments since.

Fortunately, the cancer was detected in its earlier stages which greatly increases AJ's chances, but it will still be a long uphill battle for her to beat the cancer for good. The treatment will involve 6 total rounds of chemotherapy, which is a very effective cancer treatment, but with many negative side effects. AJ is up for the fight though!

And so are we...as soon as we heard the news we spoke with fellow artist, Craig Drake, with the idea of creating a print to help AJ's cause. We decided to focus on one of his favorite characters, Trinity, because Trinity is a fighter just like AJ. 100% of proceeds from this sale will benefit AJ.

Please join AJ with us in her battle against cancer by either purchasing this Trinity II benefit print or by making a direct donation to her Go Fund Me campaign HERE, to help support AJ and her family through this difficult time. Any amount would be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small.
