Dan Mccarthy Jurassic World Variant Poster Mondo

On Thursday Mondo will be releasing posters from one of their favorite film franchises, Jurassic Park!

They have a T-Rex! Kako's take on the iconic T-Rex breakout scene puts us in the perspective of Tim and Lex as the queen of the park stare down on them. With a "nightvision" glow-in-the-dark variant it's important to remember, if you don't move she can't see you. Dan McCarthy's poster tackles the latest addition to Jurassic World, the Indominus Rex. Dan's poster breaks down the genome of the hybrid that was engineered for mass entertainment and later mass destruction.

Moments Lost: Music and Art Inspired by Blade Runner show at Bottleneck Gallery

No comments:

Hey New York join Bottleneck Gallery tonight Saturday, May 31st, as they host the premiere of Analog Sweden's Moments Lost: Music and Art Inspired by Blade Runner.

Taken from theVerge.com, "Moments Lost is a cyberpunk love letter in the form of a concept album. Its goal is simple: to craft new works inspired by the world of Blade Runner. To this end, several musicians, illustrators, and a writer have joined together to create what is essentially a collaborative art project, which will mix up illustration, music, and short stories into one cohesive whole. "It feels to me that the world of LA 2019 lives on independently of the movie now," says one of the creators, Fredrik Segerfalk. "That's why we want to go there to look for new moments."

The opening reception will take place from 7pm-9pm at Bottleneck Gallery on 60 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11249.

All artwork and music will be available for purchase the night of the show and any leftover work will go on sale the following day on Sunday, June 1st, at 12pm eastern.

The show will be open to view from May 2nd-May 18th.

Le Mans Porsche 917K Movie Poster by Kako Righteous Rides World Premier Exclusive

1 comment:

Le Mans Porsche 917K

Le Mans Gulf-Porsche Team

In 1971 the movie Le Mans staring Steve McQueen made it's debut. Unlike any film of that time or any since as it is considered difficult to replicate realistic racing scenes without the use of CGI and without an over-dependency on stunt doubles. It has gone on to be a very popular film with Steve McQueen and racing fans alike. As someone who loves both very much it is an honor to debut these posters.

Growing up Tamiya model kits were always the best models with the most detail. With that in mind Kako used those boxes as inspiration for the posters and layout while making them look so much better.

The first poster in blue is titled Le Mans Porsche 917K it is 18 x 24 inches of High Octane Horsepower

Here's what the text says, straight from Kako:

"First one, the white little one, is STEVE McQUEEN. The second one, the BIG white one is the title of the movie as it was released in Japan which is literally The Honor of Le Mans, or something close to it. In orange it is written PORSCHE, which is the name of the car Porsche 917K. used in the movie. The poster is a reference of the Tamiya model kit boxes."

The second poster in orange/papya color is titled Le Mans Gulf-Porsche Team it is 24 x 18 inches

The prints will be giclee's
