Jock Empire Strikes Back Movie Poster Release From Mondo

Two years ago, Mondo set out on a course with Acme Archives and one of their favorite artists in the galaxy, Jock, to create a series of posters celebrating the iconic Star Wars saga. They kicked it off with “Into the Garbage Chute, Flyboy,” at SDCC ’16. Today, they’re proud to announce that the second poster in the series, “That Armor’s Too Strong for Blasters,” will be available as a Timed Edition (as well as Limited Edition variant) starting Tuesday!

Featuring Luke’s heroic take down of an AT-AT via lightsaber, Jock continues to provide his unique take on the films by choosing to focus on stunning pivotal moments within each episode. “That Armor’s Too Strong for Blasters” will be available as a Timed Edition on Tuesday, 2/20 at 12PM (CT) and will run through Friday, 2/23 until 12PM (CT). There will be a Limited Edition variant of the artwork available at 12PM (CT), as well.

Martin Ansin Rogue One Star Wars Movie Poster Release By Mondo

Last month at MondoCon Mondo released a beautiful variant poster for ROGUE ONE by Martin Ansin. New Flesh Rogue One Handbills Set 2 Release

Star Wars Death Star II Duel And Cloud City Duel Posters by Kevin Tong

On Thursday, in collaboration with Acme Archives and in celebration of a new STAR WARS movie opening this week, Mondo will have two gorgeous new posters from Kevin Tong celebrating a pair of films from the original trilogy, EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and RETURN OF THE JEDI. Cloud City Duel and Death Star II Duel feature two iconic showdowns between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader representing the two characters' duality with the light and dark side of the Force.

Craig Drake AT-AT Prints From Hero Complex Gallery

Hero Complex Gallery had the great pleasure of hosting artist and friend, Craig Drake, this past weekend for a very special get together at the gallery. It included an artist Q&A, which was so fun to share with everyone, and they also announced Craig Drake Solo III, his 3rd consecutive solo show with HCG, so be on the lookout for that show in the coming months.

With that HCG released a print by Craig featuring an AT-AT. There is a regular edition, Foil Variant and a metal variant.

Tim Doyle Shiny Objects Star Wars Force Awakens Edition Prints

Tim Doyle had some down-time over the holiday break and decided to do some watercolor portraits from a galaxy far, far away!

Nakatomi is proud to present these 4 new limited edition Giclee prints of Doyle’s original hand-painted watercolors. Each print measures 12×16 and is signed and numbered in an edition of only 150 each! Printed on heavyweight coldpress natural watercolor paper with archival Ultrachrome ink!

Naturel Air Boba Fett Prints

In case you missed it over the weekend, 1xRun's man Naturel unveiled his new Guernica x Star Wars mash up artwork for a new track from legendary producer Timbaland and Illmind. Along with The Force (available as a timed box office edition + oversized 36 x 18 Inch edition) Naturel will continue to roll out new Star Wars themed prints as Star Wars continues to roll on at number one at the box office. This past weekend the movie raked in $238 million here in the US so Monday at 2:38 1xRUN dropped Naturel's Air Boba Fett in 3 custom sizes. One of them is even on aluminum.

Kako T-70 X-Wing Print

Hero Complex Gallery dropped some more of the prints they debuted at the NYCC a couple of weeks back.

This one is by Kako and titled T-70 X-Wing. The print is reminiscent of Japanese Comics featuring Star Wars. The print is a 24x18 screenprint with a metallic inks and an edition of 100.

Star Wars Day Plastic Resin Figure Release

Every Star Wars fan knows what today is, May the 4th Star Wars Day. I have always loved vinyl and resin figures and thought hey what if I made my own. So I have been learning and making my own, today marks the release of the first wave of plastic resin figures that I made. Since it's Star Wars Day I thought that would be a fun first batch.

Since I got the idea to make my own resin toys one man has been an endless source of help and knowledge that I can't thank enough. That man is Eric Nocella of Argonaut Resins who has answered a ton of my questions.

So what do we have you ask, there are Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Han Solo in Carbonite and Millennium Falcon's in different sizes and colors. Some glow in the dark and some are hand painted. Most are small and will fit on your desk to make friends and co-workers jealous.
