Jock Daredevil Reborn 4 Art Print Release From Grey Matter Art

Grey Matter Art, under license from Marvel, are very proud to announce a new officially licensed, limited edition fine art print for one of their favorite Marvel heroes, Daredevil, by Eisner Award-winning artist, Jock! GMA are delighted to be working with Jock for the first time and adopt his Daredevil: Reborn #4 (2010) comic cover into a 13x19 fine art print for poster collectors. Daredevil, aptly named "The Man Without Fear" was created in 1964 by writer/editor Stan Lee and artist, Bill Everett with some assistance from Jack Kirby. This is GMA's second release in their line of Marvel's fine art collectibles.

Jock Empire Strikes Back Movie Poster Release From Mondo

Two years ago, Mondo set out on a course with Acme Archives and one of their favorite artists in the galaxy, Jock, to create a series of posters celebrating the iconic Star Wars saga. They kicked it off with “Into the Garbage Chute, Flyboy,” at SDCC ’16. Today, they’re proud to announce that the second poster in the series, “That Armor’s Too Strong for Blasters,” will be available as a Timed Edition (as well as Limited Edition variant) starting Tuesday!

Featuring Luke’s heroic take down of an AT-AT via lightsaber, Jock continues to provide his unique take on the films by choosing to focus on stunning pivotal moments within each episode. “That Armor’s Too Strong for Blasters” will be available as a Timed Edition on Tuesday, 2/20 at 12PM (CT) and will run through Friday, 2/23 until 12PM (CT). There will be a Limited Edition variant of the artwork available at 12PM (CT), as well.

Jock The Punisher Poster Release From Mondo

On Friday Mondo will have a brilliant new poster for THE PUNISHER - the most recent (and excellent) entry into the Marvel/Netflix lexicon of shows. They're completely enamored with Jon Bernthal's dogged and stoic portrayal of Frank Castle, and are excited to release a poster for the character by the one and only Jock!

This is an exciting pairing of artist and subject as Jock's gritty, visceral rendering style nicely captures the tone of the show and portrays Frank as a watchful and powerful force of nature. If you haven't seen the show yet, we definitely suggest remedying that.

"I’ve always wanted to take a crack at THE PUNISHER and this was a unique opportunity to do so, tying it into Jon Bernthal’s super tough performance in the show. The concept started with the figure far more hidden, wearing night vision goggles appearing out of the smoke, but morphed into the clearer image we see now. Hot Fuzz Poster by Jock Release From Mondo

Edgar Wright's brilliant sophomore film, HOT FUZZ, turns 10 years old this year, and Mondo are excited to continue their celebration of the iconic Cornetto Trilogy with an awesome new poster from Jock. A companion piece to his SHAUN OF THE DEAD artwork from 2014, Jock's poster features the citizens of Sandford (Village of the Year) closing in on our two favorite policeman-officers, Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) and Danny Butterman (Nick Frost). Poster measures 36x24 and has edition of 425.

If you have never seen Hot Fuzz, you really should it's hilarious.

Rory Kurtz Clockwork Orange And Jock Enter the Dragon Poster Release from Mondo

This past MondoCon Mondo had the opportunity to host 35mm screenings of Stanley Kubrick's dystopian classic A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, and one of the most iconic martial arts films of all time, ENTER THE DRAGON. They called on Rory Kurtz and Jock to create posters for the films, and as always, they did not disappoint. On Tuesday they'll be releasing the Regular versions of the prints online.

Jock Ex Machina Movie Poster Release From Mondo

On Friday Mondo will release a great new poster from Jock for EX MACHINA. Jock worked on concept art for the film for writer/director Alex Garland, who he previously worked with on another great film called DREDD. Mondo were lucky enough to check out EX MACHINA a little early and it's a really smart and original sci-fi, which doesn't happen much these days. It's been out in the UK for a while, but it opens in the US on Friday and they definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't already.

Friday the 13th Part VI & Cannibal Holocaust Posters from Mondo

Today is Friday the 13th, and to celebrate one of the unluckiest days of the year (some people think), Mondo will have some scary good releases lined up. There's no better day to release a FRIDAY THE 13TH poster and they're thrilled to have Phantom City Creative take on the franchise with PART VI: JASON LIVES. 75 Years of Batman Mondo Posters Release Part 1 The Comics

This week Mondo are releasing all remaining prints from the 75 Years of Batman gallery show, which came to a close in Austin this past weekend. They're kicking things off Tuesday with artwork inspired by Batman comics, with posters from Jock, Francesco Francavilla, Alex Pardee, Matt Taylor, We Buy Your Kids, JC Richard, Tom Whalen and Brandon Holt! Batman 75th Anniversary Prints By Brian Bolland & Jock

In a box in my father's basement is the first cover I ever saw that Brian Bolland draw. It was for Judge Dredd #1. The man was and still is one of the best illustrators ever. I was really excited to see this print he did for Forbidden Planet to help celebrate the 75th Anniversary of The Caped Crusader aka The Dark Knight aka Batman. Forbidden Planet also got another English artist that has done Batman comic book work and some Mondo posters by the name of Jock.

Both prints are giclee and measure 18 x 24 inches with editions of 200 each, each print will also be signed by the respected artist.

Jock Batman Black Mirror Prints Release Details

At a random time on Wednesday UK comic book artist and Mondo artist Jock will be releasing his stunning Batman Black Mirror prints. You will have your choice of either purple or the black & white edition or both. The prints are 24 x 36 inches and they will be a timed edition on sale for the next 48 hours. The images are from the graphic novel of the same name that collects Detective Comics issues #871-881 that he did the art work for back in 2011.

The graphic novel can be had on Amazon and your local comic shop. In "The Black Mirror," a series of brutal murders pushes Batman's detective skills to the limit and forces him to confront one of Gotham City's oldest evils. Helpless and trapped in the deadly Mirror House, Batman must fight for his life against one of Gotham City's oldest and most powerful evils!

Then, in a second story called "Hungry City," the corpse of a killer whale shows up on the floor of one of Gotham City's foremost banks. The event begins a strange and deadly mystery that will bring Batman face-to-face with the new, terrifying faces of organized crime in Gotham.

The Silence of the Lambs & Halloween Poster by Jock Mondo Release

Mondo are pleased to present a brand new poster for THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS by We Buy Your Kids. If you've been following them for a while, you will know how much Mondo loves WBYK's work, me personally I don't know why it does nothing for me. They are consistently impressed by their ability to create a fresh, unique take on titles with such a legacy, like THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, and make it their own. But as someone who loves the movie thus far I have been disappointed with the poster they have released for this film.
