Alice Cooper World Tour 1971 Poster By Gary Pullin

Released just over fifty years ago on March 9, 1971, Love It To Death was the culmination of Alice Cooper's journey that began in 1964 when Vincent Furnier made his first onstage appearance in Phoenix. Fast forward to December, 1971 everybody had heard Alice Cooper's “I’m Eighteen” off of their first mainstream success, Love It to Death.

The band was well known for their genuinely menacing live performances, the audience rarely rushing the stage fearing that Alice’s dark intimidating prowling would escape the invisible boundary. At a time when others were sporting eyeshadow and feather boas, Alice Cooper was appearing in a straitjacket draped in a real boa constrictor. By 1973, the band would become so huge that their U.S. tour broke box-office records then held by the Rolling Stones.

When Collectionzz had the chance to create an official print for Alice Cooper, they immediately jumped at the opportunity. And the first call they made was to world renowned artist Ghoulish Gary Pullin, who created these awesome screenprints based on the infamous urban legend about how the band got its name from a ouija board session!

Gary Pullin Halloween Movie Posters Release From Mondo

All Hallows' Eve is upon us and what better way to celebrate than with a handful of Halloween treats by the ghoulish one, Gary Pullin! Back in May Mondo released a poster with Gary for HALLOWEEN II, and Tuesday they thrilled to have posters for the original John Carpenter classic, HALLOWEEN, as well as the second - and often overlooked - sequel, HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH.

"I’ll never forget the first time I watched HALLOWEEN. I was terrified. Suddenly, Micheal Myers was in MY town! I thought he was outside the window or hiding in our garage. I worried that if I looked into a dark corner long enough, I might see that white mask staring back at me. The scene where he appears at Lynda’s bedroom door under the bed sheet has always stuck with me. What possessed Michael to to do that? Myers is a killer without remorse, but perhaps there is still a curious child that lives inside the boogyman?" - Gary Pullin

"Although HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH continues on without Michael Myers, I love it all the same. I often think of it like a TWILIGHT ZONE episode that Carpenter (or in this case Tommy Lee Wallace) never directed. The three masks featured in the film - the skull, the jack-o-lantern and the witch have become iconic and I was inspired to present them as if they were grown in a pumpkin patch somewhere near the Silver Shamrock factory. I hope fans of these two classic horror films like these posters, I certainly had a terrifyingly good time creating them." - Gary Pullin

On sale at a random time on HALLOWEEN (10/31) at mondotees.com.

Romero, and we are thrilled to present a pair of beautifully dreadful posters by the ghoulish one, Gary Pullin.
