Mondo Never Grow Up Disney Online Poster Release Part 1

On Thursday Mondo be releasing the first round of posters from theur recent gallery exhibit, “Mondo x Cyclops Print Works Present Never Grow Up: A Disney Art Show.” It was a dream come true to host the show for Mondo, which featured the work of more than 25 incredible artists taking on their favorite Disney films.

Jessica Seamans Secret of Kells And Song of the Sea Posters Release From Mondo

Mondo will have two new posters for a pair of amazing animated films from the past few years. They’ve partnered up with the great folks at GKids and the always amazing Jessica Seamans to create posters for Academy Award nominated films: The Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea!

Jes absolutely delivered on both of these posters, creating two prolific and intimate scenes beautifully rendered to every last detail.

"These were sort of a dream assignment for me as there's nothing I'd rather spend hours and hours drawing than lush foliage or weird underwater landscapes. Both of these movies are so incredibly beautiful and visually dense—it was a welcome challenge to try to capture some of that in a poster," said Seamans. "I was lucky enough to visit Ireland a few years ago and was blown away by the green of the woods and the majesty of the cliffs; it was a real pleasure to draw on those memories for these two prints."

Jessica Seamans Gremlins Poster Release From Mondo

It's no surprise that Gremlins is one of the Mondo crew's favorite films to watch during the holidays, and they're excited to celebrate the classic property with a fantastic new poster from Landland's Jessica Seamans.

Here's what Jessica had to say about the print:

"Naturally, I was thrilled to be asked to do a poster for Gremlins - who wouldn't be? And then, when I actually started working on it, my excitement transformed into intimidation and dread. I knew I wanted to show the great movie theater scene, but how to fill the page with what is is essentially the same face over and over without being totally monotonous and boring? Also, the lighting was really complex, as here I am trying to convey a dark room lit from both the front and the back. Yikes! But, ultimately it was a really fun challenge and I learned some things that I think will make me a better illustrator and printer. Too bad my brain fell out of my head four or five times in the process."
