James Flames latest poster for the Trey Anastasio Band, for their recent set of shows at the fabled Tabernacle in Atlanta.
The illustration is titled "Signals & Noises", featuring a guitar playing tiger in the wild. He’s got his amp dialed in, and his guitar is tuned up, and, well... he’s got like a MILLION pedals! The entire floor is filled with them, the bass drum is filled with them, they’re stacked on the drum heads, and on top of the amps. They’re everywhere, and they're admist the nature growing wildly all around. Everything is all connected, creating one solid current, one immersive flow: The music originates from the musician, it’s influenced and nurtured by nature, and then it’s communicated through electricity. For us. ROAR!
Every guitar pedal in this illustration is based on a real (and sometimes super obscure) pedal, many of which are in Trey's actual rig. How many can you recognize?
James also made a very small edition of "Dots" HoloFoil variant, which is pretty sick, to be honest.
Both versions will be available Tuesday, June 4th at 2pm Eastern at www.jamesflames.com
