This Friday Bottleneck Gallery's Grateful Dead Artist Series continues with the devastatingly brilliant Daniel Danger and for me my favorite of the series so far!
This project with Daniel marks his Bottleneck debut, so they'd like to take a moment to gush about his art, which they've admired and collected for years. Daniel's painstakingly detailed body of work contains moody masterpieces, featuring dilapidated architecture and the ghosts that haunt these hallowed places. Whether a gig poster, alternative movie print, or personal work, Daniel's art finds the balance between the ethereal and the grungy physical worlds, between nature and structure, and they're ecstatic for the opportunity to work with him.
Daniel's Grateful dead piece, despite potentially somber from afar, portrays the Grateful Dead's indelible mark on history and our current, hopeful remembrances of good times past.
Please check www.thereisafountain.com for an in-depth look showing how Daniel created the piece, along with stunning hi-def photos of all editions of the print. Seriously take the time to check it out.
