JC Rivera Art Prints Release From Galerie F

These two new prints are gonna blow your minds. Thoughtfully taking the concept of sticker art and sticker game from the streets into the print world, JC Rivera designed two art prints from the USPS Mailing Label as well as the "Hello My Name Is" sticker. Choose your flavor! These prints feature a classic OG champ or his beloved clusters which can be found on large-scale murals all over the city of Chicago and beyond.

Both prints are 24 x 18 inches, 5 color screen prints and each have an edition of 100.

Galerie F Street Level Art Sale

Last Friday night Galerie F celebrated their 4th anniversary with "Street Level." Many of the artists in the show attended and it really felt like a big family and friends event. Galerie F Chicago Comic Entertainment Expo Print Release Dan Mumford & More

Galerie F are happy to announce the release of the remaining prints from Chicago Comic Entertainment Expo. They have over ten stunning new prints and toys to share with you on Monday May 11th at 2PM CDT. Here's a full rundown of what they will have to offer...

First! Three new stencil art pieces transformed into silkscreen prints from EPYON5. FugScreens knocked the printing out of the park with the transparencies and layering, while Epyon as always creates an impressive homage to propaganda in the form of pop culture patronage. Here are the specifics...

Next up, is Galerie F's favorite Brazilian Cristiano Suarez. This is their first release with Suarez in a while and they are happy to add to his exclusive series with Galerie F. They prompted Suarez to take a look at the super-villainesses of the comic universe and were treated with this colorful diptych. His vintage style and interested use of highlights really make these designs pop.

Then they have the talented Matthew Johnson [SeventhInk]. They first started working with Johnson from our Loaded Guns exhibition, and have since been drawn to his graphic design skills. Each print they've carried from him is different in its own way, but shows a great understanding of perspective. Here we have some video game inspired prints to drop Monday!

The second release with Dan Mumford will not disappoint - Zissou reached out to Mumford with his love for Judge Dredd, and was met with the same passion! Mumford was excited to take on this concept and created a piece that utilized his intense atmospheric landscapes to express the mortality that is the story of Judge Dredd and Judge Death.

Next up is an unexpected film poster designed by Brian Ewing that Galerie F have been hanging on to for a bit. Ewing had created this poster for a screening at the Logan Theatre, but was not able to finalize the design before the screen date. They loved the design so much, how much of a deviation it is from the work they currently have in from Ewing, that they had to print it.

And FINALLY, are the new prints from Chicago based street artist JC Rivera. Two brand new prints and a few toys collaborated on with Leecifer were created for this comic themed weekend. Leecifer created five comic-themed Evil as F*ck bears exclusively for GF at C2E2 - these were the first but we are sure they won't be the last! Details on the two knock out prints we've got from JCR are below.

Skullamania Print Release Justin Santora, Phineas Jones, Michael Hacker Galerie F Exclusive

Part of their ongoing Galerie F Exclusive releases, they offer four amazing artists and over a dozen new original art prints all printed at FugScreens Studios in Chicago. This month's theme is the human skull - the artists interpretation ranges from morbid, existential, chic, and downright adorable. Michael Hacker's eight print release stems from an original watercolor painting set that was translated digitally to create these four layer silkscreen works. Justin Santora has created an art print variant of his popular Rise Against gig poster, with stunning detail and a good taste of Midwestern depression. JC Rivera is a new artist to the Galerie F roster - Rivera brings his street art history into the world of printmaking by translating his hand-drawn sketches into bold simple prints. Phineas Jones expands upon his love for cephalopod with '8 Limbs Good,' available in two colors and two ways to contemplate death by octopus.

These will be released in the Galerie F webstore May 13th 2PM CST and in store on Tuesday May 14th. Only available through Galerie F.
