Anarkitty Faster Pussycat Print Release Details

1xRUN has added another new artist to their impressive roster of talent. Anarkitty aka Emma Geary is a 36 year old Artist hailing from a small village just outside Belfast.Her first print with 1xRUN is titled Faster Pussycat.

"This piece was part of Gallery 1988's Crazy for Cult 7 (New York) show. Faster Pussy Cat Kill Kill, being my chosen Cult Movie because Tura Santana Character was one is Badass Kitty.

I had been mulling over ideas about Villainesses and came across Faster Pussy Pussycat KILL KILL. Knowing it was a cult movie and LOVING Tura Santana's Character, I thought Yes, that's it! Bad Girls are always a lot more interesting to draw. I did a few rough layouts and came up with an initial sketch. Then did a rough color layout in Photoshop and started painting from that." - Anarkitty

Landland Dave Matthews Band West Palm Beach Posters Artist Edition On Sale Details

When I was at Flatstock a few weeks back I was talking with Dan Black about his posters and stuff and he mentioned these Dave Matthews Band posters for West Palm Beach. No one knew who had done night 1 and then I looked on Twitter and night 2 image had been released. So I said hey they are both done by Landland. Someone asked if I was sure it was Landland, I told him yes Dan is standing right next to me. I thought it was funny.

Jessica Seamans of Landland did the illustration on both of these beautiful posters and you will have you chance at getting them Monday.

Both posters are five-color screenprint on 100# French cover stock measuring 18" x 24"

Tristan Eaton Primus Silver Spring Poster

Tristan Eaton has been murdering walls from California to Hawaii to Guam to Mexico these past months. Now that he is back at his studio he will be selling his killer Primus poster. This piece is a 5 color silk-screen, 18" x 21.25" in an edition of 100 prints. Each print is signed & numbered. Tim on the idea for the print:

The name of this print run has a double meaning to me. I decided to release it August 5th to pay tribute to the Beastie Boys legend MCA (Adam Yauch); his birthday. Growing up, just about every day after school I would grab my basketball and head to the park or Boy's Club for some pickup games. Most of the time it was Beastie Boys on my walkman when I made the walk. They have always been a big influence on me. Also no sleep till I feel confident with enough artwork for a solo show in Brooklyn. It may be a few years out, but I will keep trying to juggle family life, a regular job, and artwork with many late nights......

Ernie Parada Propagandhi "Capitalist Pig" & 7 Seconds Posters

Ernie Parada is an artist from New York who runs Hellgate Industries and for the past 25 years has designed Posters, T shirts, CD and Album covers for everyone from Fu Fighters to 7 Seconds. He has released a couple of good looking posters for Propagandhi and 7 Seconds.

One is Propagandhi "Capitalist Pig"

Its a tour poster for their upcoming tour through North America.  This is the 4th one Ive done for them and I wanted to continue to bring their ethic, and their general vibe through. The bright red in the background, on the tusks and the eyes tell the whole story.

7 Seconds

The band and I go WAY back, back to almost the beginning. On my first tour with Token entry, we made it out to California with 50 7 inches, and maybe 2 dozen shirts to sell. We did a gig at the farm with 7 Seconds and Kevin asked to release an album for us. It was the beginning of the whole thing. We became friends, and I remember that in his bunk in the van, he had a little buddha statue. The compassion of the buddha, and what that guy did for me, Youth of Today, Verbal Assault and countless others kinda go together.
