If you are a film aficionado, or just an average film-goer, you have probably seen Once Upon A Time In Hollywood at least once, it is an amazing recreation of Hollywood 1969, ground zero of the pop culture explosion from the mind of Quentin Tarantino. Jim “Taz” Evans was actually there at the time, toiling away on underground comics and surfing with Rick Griffin. Recently Sony Pictures commissioned him to do a series of portraits of the stars in a style the fits the hyper pop culture-saturated approach of the film. These images of Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, and Leonardo DiCaprio are being distributed worldwide as part of the global film promotion. Taz has now hooked up, once again, with Kelly “Risk” Graval to have these portraits printed at the legendary RiskRock Studio. The giclee prints will not be sold, but will be given away to the stars, filmmakers, and others who played an important part in the success of the film – you might be one of those lucky ones!
