2000 AD: 40 Years of Thrillpower Vice Press Print Releases

To celebrate the 2000 AD 40 Years of Thrillpower Festival, Vice Press will be releasing a series of new limited edition screen prints by both classic 2000 AD artists and some of the best artists in pop culture today.

All of these prints and others will be released at the 2000 AD 40 Years of Thrill Power Festival held in London this Saturday, the 11th of Feb, with remaining copies going on sale via the Vice Press website (www.Vice-Press.com) on Monday the 13th of Feb at 6pm UK time which is 1pm EST.

Florian Bertmer Rogue Trooper Print Release From Vice Press

Vice Press will be releasing a brand new, officially licensed 2000 AD screen print; Rogue Trooper by Florian Bertmer.

Florian Bertmer is a huge 2000 AD fan and has brought Nu-Earth to life in this insanely detailed art print. Vice Press were blown away with how much went into this piece and it is a spectacle in print! Vice Press has been really excited to work with such a revered and talented artist.

Here is what artist Matt Ferguson had to say about working on this piece:

"One of my favorite old school Judge Dredd stories has always been Block Mania, it's a story that really shows the day to day workings of a street level Judge and that was my jumping off point for this print. I wanted something graphic and exciting so I limited myself to just 2 colors and went from there. It's always cool to see Dredd on his Lawmaster and I thought why not have him jumping off an overpass to get down to some rioting citizens, as soon as I thought of that element the rest of the print fell in to place pretty quickly." - Matt Ferguson

Block War by Matt Ferguson will debut at the Vice Press booth at the Manchester Film and Comic Con on May the 21st and 22nd and will be released online at 6pm BST on Wednesday the 25th of May exclusively at www.Vice-Press.com.

Matt Taylor Attack The Block & Matt Ferguson Judge Dredd Posters For Thought Bubble UK

It took a while after Attack the Block came out on Blu-Ray for me to get around to watching it. Not much was said about the movie and went into it with low expectations. After seeing it I was blow away how good a movie it was and honestly don't understand why it's so underrated. So when ever there is a poster for it I get excited to see it and daaamn Matt Taylor killed it with this one. If you have not seen yet be sure to watch it.
