Chris Thornley Iron Giant Movie Poster Release By Grey Matter Art

Grey Matter Art have been hard at work over the holidays getting projects together for 2020 and thought they'd start the year off with a release they haven't touched on yet. GMA is pleased to release the Warner Bros. 1999 American Animated Science-Fiction Film, "The Iron Giant" by UK illustrator and designer, Chris Thornley (Raid71)! Based on the 1968 novel "The Iron Man" by Ted Hughes, "The Iron Giant" shows the phenomenal directorial debut of Brad Bird who has always been a personal favorite filmmaker of ours! Chris did a beautiful job recreating the scene of the Giant's sincere interaction with the deer, which comes as a 24 x 36-inch screenprint containing two editions, a Regular Edition Foil and a Variant Edition Foil!

Chris Thornley Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Movie Poster Release

GMA have really enjoyed seeing each artist put their individual spin on this movie and Chris really excited them. His use of perspective and dimension works so well, showing Miles web-slinging through the city. GMA couldn't be happier with Chris's approach and design on this one! The first in a series of officially licensed, limited edition, original, screen printed art prints featuring characters and titles from the pages of the galaxy’s greatest comic, 2000 AD and Judge Dredd Megazine.

Vice Press under license from Rebellion are extremely proud to announce the first of their ongoing 2000 AD screen-printed series of art; featuring Mega City One Lawman, Judge Dredd! For this release they chose to work with British artist Chris Thornley, aka Raid 71. Vice Press have long been fans of Raid’s work and they are extremely pleased with the thought and care he has put into this truly unique Judge Dredd screen print. Raid has also captured a number of clever Easter Eggs, which are hidden throughout the art.
