Pink Floyd Jeff Wood Poster Release

No comments:

Jeff Wood’s phenomenal art commemorating Pink Floyd’s performance from May 4, 1988 in Raleigh, North Carolina on the A Momentary Lapse of Reason tour, is the third poster in ECHO’s Pink Floyd series.

I witnessed Pink Floyd in concert for the first time. It was pouring rain, like cats and dogs pouring, but as we made our way into the stadium I realized our tickets were at the top of field level seating right under the overhang where the upper deck was jutting out. It was perfect. We sat in dry comfort for the entire show. Waves of rain came down through the lights. It was quite surreal and one of the most amazing shows I have ever witnessed. Little did I realize that three decades later, I would get to do the official poster for that very show. The fact it was approved by Pink Floyd on May 4th, 33 years to the day of the show, added to the grand synchronicity of the piece. Mind blown. It was the last concert I attended with one of my very best friends before he passed away. To say this one is special is an understatement. – Jeff Wood
This 9-color screen print measures 18”x24” and will be available in these limited edition variations:

Gallery Edition – 150 pcs / $60
Lava Foil Variant – 100 pcs / $80
Sparkle Foil Variant– 60 pcs / $100

Jeff Wood’s Pink Floyd poster will be available at 11AM PDT / 2PM EDT
Friday May 14, 2021 at Echo Print Gallery Store.

Jeff Wood Universal Shaman Art Print Release

No comments:

Neon Eye would like to present the limited edition silkscreened release of ‘Universal Shaman’ by Jeff Wood. This print is being released to benefit two wonderful organizations: Conscious Alliance & Stronghold Society.

A bit about the print from the artist:
"Universal Shaman is my representation of the creation story. The original concept for this piece was conceived at Burning Man, the neo-pagan festival held each year in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada which exemplifies rebirth and creation. It is not made to represent any particular tribe or culture, but more to illustrate the importance of the role the shaman, medicine people and storytellers play in all human tribes.

My neo-tribal style is heavily influenced by various cultures around the world and those artists who have illustrated the rituals, myths and customs down through the ages. It's my way of paying tribute to those original visionaries that have inspired me and my art." -Jeff Wood
20 x 30 inch multi-color serigraph print.
Printed on archival Cranes Lettra cotton rag. Hand torn finishing on top and bottom.
Signed, numbered & embossed edition of 115.
Each print includes a Neon Eye certificate of authenticity.

100% of the profits from this limited edition art print will benefit Conscious Alliance and the Stronghold Society in their mission to aid and empower Native youth. Printed & distributed by Lady Lazarus - Houston, TX – USA

Neon Eye Presents Limited Edition Print Release From: Jeff Wood & Eyesore

No comments:

Neon Eye in collaboration with Lady Lazarus would like to present the online release of new limited edition serigraph prints. Each debuted at the Neon Eye pop-up gallery located at San Diego Comic Con last month.

‘Enlightened 1’ by: Jeff Wood

A word from the artist: ‘The inspiration for this piece came from my painting instructor, Robert Venosa. Venosa's piece, ”Enlightenment” featuring a symmetrical Buddha in the middle of a signature exploding abstract, is one of my favorites. As a screen print poster artist who usually works in flat color and linework, strangely, my oil paintings fall more into the fantastic realism of painters like Venosa, Giger, Ernst Fuchs, Hoffmann, and Rubinov. This image was created using digital pastel brushes that I custom built to mimic the technique I use when laying down an underpainting on canvas. It’s a definite nod to my Maestro Venosa after his passing and the influence he had on me as a painter and human. This piece honors his memory. I miss him dearly.’

This serigraph print, based off of the original digital painting, was broken down into a dozen layers of rich blues and blacks to capture its full range and depth. Printed on heavy archival cotton rag with hand torn edges. Sized at 20 x 30 inches, it was produced in a limited edition of 130. Each print is finished with Jeff Woods’ signature, hand numbered, and embossed with the Neon Eye insignia.

‘Unmade Bed’ by: Eyesore

Street artist, Eyesore’s unmistakable style and composition is a common sight for any inhabitant of Houston, TX. His distinct bold, inked lines flow from electrical boxes to gallery walls. Neon Eye has produced ‘Unmade Bed’ as a single stencil silkscreen, on archival cotton rag, with a subtle metallic split fountain blend. Produced in a limited edition of 70 pieces, signed & numbered by the artist. Finished with hand torn edges & embossed with the Neon Eye insignia.

Additionally, Neon Eye will be offering an option to purchase each print, ready to hang, housed in a custom designed contemporary frame. Each assembled professionally using archival museum quality materials.

All print editions above are on sale now at: www.neon-eye.com

Jeff Wood Widespread Panic en la Playa Posters Release

No comments:

Panic en la Playa Seis
Jeff Wood has got several versions of this poster set to release. There are uncuts in the flat Eclipse Black paper edition, but none in the Gloss Cadillac Black. The gloss singles will be sold as sets and there are just a handful of the flat Eclipse singles that can be purchased separately. Here's the breakdown of editions:

Available Black Eclipse Editions:
Single 14x24" Eagle AE/25 - $40
Single 14x24" Snake Mandala AE/25 - $40
Uncut 28x24" SN AE/100 - $100

Variant Gloss Cadillac Black Editions:
Matching Number Sets - $100

As often is the case, these digital files do not do the prints justice. The gold layer is metallic and the little details make them pop in person. The Cadillac Black is a deeper, shinier black that the flat Black Eclipse, but both prints are lovely.

They'll also be adding new mini prints to the web store as well on Thursday. One is a mini of the Mayan Snake Mandala from the PelP Seis prints and the other two are similar in nature... the top is an SG Guitar Flower mandala Jeff created while listening to some Tedeschi Trucks Band and the 2nd one is titled Snake in the Pepper Patch.

There are also 2 different papers for these 8x8" set of mini Mandala prints. There are only 100 pieces of the Cadillac Black Gloss paper... all of these will be sold as sets.

There is a large number of the mini prints on the Eclipse Black paper, but only 100 of those will be S/N and sold. The rest will remain unsigned and unnumbered and likely be used as freebies in some packages.

SN/100 Sets on Black Eclipse paper @ $40
SN/100 Variant Edition on the Gloss Cadillac Black @ $50

All new prints in this email will be added to the Zen Dragon web site Thursday, March 9 @ 3pm EST which is located https://zendragongallery.com/

Jeff Wood Drowning Creek Widespread Panic posters on sale details (New Years Eve and Indian Summer)

2 comments:

Details from Jeff Wood:

I have two Widespread Panic Artist Edition releases that will be going up in the store on Jan 5th (Thursday). The first is the print for the Alpharetta, Ga show featuring art titled Indian Summer and the second being the NYE Charlotte show featuring the Blue Indian art.

The Blue Indian NYE print is the second in a trilogy of Native portrait prints. The first being the Red Rocks Universal Shaman print. The third and final installment will be released at Panic en la Playa. I'm extremely proud of this set of prints. They will make a great set to have hanging on your wall. I wanted to do something really special for the band to commemorate their 25th Anniversary. Since I love doing Native themed artwork it all sort of fell into place. The band was generous enough to let me run with theme and the reception by the fans has warmed my heart.

These two prints will be released at a random time before 3:00pm EST today and will be limited to ONE each per person. Judy and I will be attending Jam Cruise next week for a very much needed break, so all orders will start processing as soon as we get back in the shop.

Purchase the prints here!
