Revealed The Dark Knight Rises Batman Mondo Movie Posters by Jock for SDCC

1 comment:
Mondo will be debuting a TDKR poster by acclaimed artist Jock at their Comic-Con booth (#437) tomorrow. Watch @MondoNews for the announcement of exactly when it'll go on sale. It will be an edition of 375, it's 24" x 36", and it'll cost $45.
There's an alternative version, an edition of 250, that features the villains from the whole trilogy. That will NOT be sale - Warner Bros will be handing that out for fan appreciation.

English comic book artist Jock is one of the artists Mondo has tapped to create posters for their appearance at the San Diego Comic Con. The is the first The Dark Knight Rises poster revealed. Mondo will have 15 new posters there on sale at random times, good luck.

Tyler Stout SDCC Comic Con Movie Poster Giveaway. Where's Workman ?

No comments:

Fun giveaway by Tyler Stout for folks at SDCC. Details from Tyler :

Going to the 2012 San Diego Comic Con?

Interested in winning an Akira poster, or a Kill Bill poster, or a Let the Right One In poster, or even and Empire Strikes Back poster?

then have i got a deal for you. as some of you know, i like to laugh. i have a friend attending this years SDCC, we shall call him "Workman." he is a good guy, a friendly chap, just looking to see the sights and have a fun time. and i thought it would be humorous to have a contest. the contest is called

to play, all you have to do is:
1. look for the Workman as you walk around the con
2. when you find him, say "Hey, can I get my picture taken with you?"
3. get a picture taken with him. he will be weirded out a little.
4. do not tell him why you want your picture taken with him.
5. email it to me, tyler@tstout.com

it is critical you do not mention this contest or my name to him. he must remain totally unaware.

everyone that emails me a picture of themselves with the Workman will get a free Hulk patch, and i will choose 4 winners from those that enter, and they will get either an akira print, a kill bill print, a LTROI print, or a empire print. that's a 40$ street value right there.

i'll be honest, i doubt anyone will find him, if you do see him, and you're the only one to enter, you could win big! you'll still just get one poster, but you'll get your pick! but if four people or more enter, i'll just randomly pick from those and send out the prints. but everyone that enters gets a hulk patch. with a street value of no cents.

again, you can't tell him anything about this, he will have no idea what is going on. and your chances of winning, if you see him and get a pic, could be pretty good.

here are some photos of him, he could shave his beard before the con

Kevin Tong H.G. Wells War of the World and The Time Machine Poster for SDCC

1 comment:
Kevin Tong will have two incredible posters for H.G. Wells’ books, and the War of the Worlds and The Time Machine. These prints will be debuted at his booth (504) at Comic Con International San Diego starting Thursday, 7/12/12. (Or the day before if you come on preview night).

This is a three color screen printed poster on 18 x 24 inch, 100 lb. white cover paper/signed and numbered in a limited edition of 200. The price is $40.

This is a two color screen printed poster on 18 x 24 inch, 100 lb. Lemon Yellow French cover paper and signed/numbered in a limited edition of 200. The price is $30

Kevin made these illustrations in association with his friends at Miles To Go Clothing, where they are available in various styles/sizes as t-shirts.
While these prints can be purchased separately, he will be offering sets with matching numbers for $60, not a bad deal. Any remaining prints and sets will be available for sale on his website soon after Comic Con International is over.

In addition to the H.G Wells prints and the usual array of items I have at booth events, I’ll have some exciting new things for sale:
1. The Born to Illustrate T-Shirts, finally in XL and XXL.
2. Virtually every Mondo poster I have done in 2012 and some from even earlier.
3. Some sold out golden oldies that I have wrestled from my personal collection, such as band posters and art prints.
4. Posters I have done recently that haven’t been available online yet.
In order to spread them out, I’ll be taking them out at random times during the day and tweeting them (@tragicsunshine) as well as facebook posting them (http://www.facebook.com/KevinTongIllustration). First come, first serve.

toddland/huckleberry SDCC12 releases from Tim Doyle, Tom Whalen (Land of the Lost) and Dave Perillo

No comments:
Huckleberry (booth #3449) has partnered up this year with the fine folks of toddland to bring a whole new level of radness to san diego comic con. (SDCC12)  Huckleberry joined up with the toddland design team to bring their own clever and quirky spin some items for SDCC this year and you won't be disappointed.  With awesome artist friends like Whalen, Doyle, and Perillo, toddland has a roster of some pretty special limited releases, and an arsenal of things than you need to take home with you before it sells out.  As always with toddland, everything is super limited, and with Adventure time, Yo Gabba Gabba, and the Aquabats in the mix, what we've seen so far is all pretty awesome and definitely won't last long.  Coming from the company whose mission statement is, "make rad stuff", you're going to be pretty stoked with what they came up with over at the toddland labs to share with their comic con friends.

Tom Whalen:

- Pen specially designed this sweater just for his friends at toddland, and they printed it and only made 75 of them.
- limited to 75 pcs, $75

Japanese Brobee super limited edition tees (Yo Gabba Gabba)
- limited to 150 of each color, (Yellow, Black, Gray), these are $20

Adventure time:
There will be a whole bunch of totally rhombus Adventure Time gear to pick up, including Jake Sweatpants ($25), Jake Sweatshirt ($30), Lady Rainacorn and Jake belts ($18 each), a bunch of awesome socks ($12), pillows ($15), and Air Fresheners ($5 each, and yes there is a Marceline!).  The Huckleberry booth is also a stop on the Adventure Time Cartoon Network "Con-Quest", so come by and get stamped.  Also, don't forget to check out the Cartoon Network Adventure Time Panel on Saturday, July 14th, at 11:15am in room 6A.

Yo Gabba Gabba:
In addition to the Tim Doyle prints and the Japanese Brobee shirts, they will have all of their Yo Gabba Gabba charachter wallets as well.  Never a dull moment with toddland, their Brobee wallet is made out of fur (not real fur), the Muno wallet actually has bumps on it, and the Plex wallet has a snap shut antenna!  Also, DJ Lance AND Muno will be in the booth (#3449) on Friday from 11am-3pm for photos.

The Aquabats!:
Dave Perillo always wanted to work on an Aquabats piece, so they put rad with rad and made it happen.  Then, MC Bat Commander (he has toddland on speed dial) requested that they make a whole bunch of crazy stuff to share with their fans at comic con.  So poof! (thats what magic sounds like), it happened.  They've got Aquabats capes ($10), special wallets ($20), A Uniform underpants set ($25), Aquabats Pajama Party set ($30) and some other craziness like socks ($12), boxers ($15), pillows ($15), and floating keychains ($5)!  The Aquabats panel is Friday night from 8pm-9pm in room 7B.  Keeping the comic con tradition alive, they will be performing at the House of Blues San Diego on Saturday night (Doors at 630), and all the Aquabats will be in the booth on Saturday from 11am - 1pm for photo op and signing!

Toddland:
And for those of you wondering, they will of course have the toddland world famous cheeseburger wallets ($24), hot dog and corn dog coin purses ($18), the world's largest gummy bear ($36), the worlds largest gummy worm ($28), and all the other toddland bounties on hand that only they could make.  Like wrist fanny packs... yes, fanny packs for your wrist ($5).

see you all at Huckleberry (booth #3449)
