Tristan Eaton painting at the Movement: Detroit Electronic Music Festival 2010- And giveaway

Tristan Eaton was brought to Detroit by Ford to paint one of their new Fiestas during the Electronic Music Festival and ITRPF was on hand. After battling scorching heat Saturday Tristan got most of it done ( I was not their Sunday to see it finished). Ford will clear coat the car then after Detroit the car will go to the Bonnaroo Festival for display. After that they will auction the car for charity. Tristan also designed the logo for one of the shirts they were silk screening on the spot for people.

Tristan lived in Detroit for 5 years and got his first taste of art and illustration working at Highway Press Printers. Yes the same people that printed a lot of EMEK and Derek Hess' first posters many years ago. At the age of 18 he was doing illustrations for Orbit magazine. From there he launched a very successful career as a fine artist and toy designer.

Tristan was nice enough to sign 3 shirts for you my readers !!!! So drop a comment and I will use the random number generator to pick 3 people.

ENTRIES ARE CLOSED FOR THE CONTEST

Thanks again to Rob and Tristan for letting me hang out with them and watch Tristan paint the car.
