Cleon Peterson The Brinksman 1 and 2 art print release by Obey Giant details

Cleon Peterson’s art depicts an anxiety-riddled world where chaos is the inevitable order of things and violence is the status quo. The work is an evocation of ‘Thomas Hobbes’ description of life as “solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.” The Brinksman I and II portray the absolute breakdown of social order, resulting in the end with man turning on himself.
Each one is 23 x 23 inch Screen Print, Signed and Numbered Edition of 75. Printed on Heavy Arches 100% paper with deckled edges.

On sale Thursday October 13 at 10am PDT at ObeyGiant.com
