This brand new print is the first in a series of four that will see the collaborative work of Henry Flint and Strictly Kev see the light of day as glorious big GicleƩ prints.
Henry Flint is an artist best known for his work on the comic book 2000AD, in particular as one of the artists who works on the infamous Judge Dredd series. In 2004 he won Best Comics Artist at the National Comics Awards.
Strictly Kev is a graphic designer who has shaped the look of the Ninja Tune label over the past 15 years. Not only did he design their logo, but also album artwork and logos for the likes of Coldcut, Amon Tobin, The Herbaliser, The Cinematic Orchestra and DJ Food, the latter of which he is now the sole member of. Under the DJ Food moniker he has played to sold out audiences across the globe.
This piece was the cover artwork for the 'Shape of Things That Hum' EP by DJ Food. The inks were done by Mr. Flint and the piece was then coloured by Kev.
It is printed to the very high standards of the Fine Art Trade Guild on 300gsm Somerset Photo Satin which is a 100% cotton paper.
The paper measures 64.5cm x 47.1cm.
All prints are signed by both Henry Flint and Strictly Kev.
The edition is limited to only 100 hand numbered prints.
The print comes unframed and rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube.
