Well three years ago yesterday I started this here blog. Each year readership has doubled and I really appreciate everyone for their help and support over the past three years. Also THANK YOU to everyone that takes time out of their day to stop by and see the latest happenings in our world. As most of you know I enjoy being able to give back to you my loyal readers, and I'm the only one that does.
Tim Doyle and I talked before Christmas about adding to the 5 days of Holiday Giveaways I did each day leading up to Christmas. But with both our busy schedules we did not follow up on it. But we were talking yesterday and he asked if I still wanted to do a giveaway and I'm like yeah Monday it will be my third anniversary of the blog. He goes no way it's the third anniversary of Nakatomi. So automatically I go we really need to do something then. Tim has moved the Nakatomi operation into a brand new dedicated studio and printing space and picked up 2 new used auto press printers (picture above) and other goodies. Happy to see Tim expanding his operation !!!
Ok I know shut up and tell us what you're giving away..... Wait for it...... Bill Murray “He is the Zissou” Wood edition Artist Proof Print
Created for the Spoke Art Wes Anderson Bad Dad's show only 10 of these were made. Both the wood and paper edition sold out fast. But Tim was kind enough to giveaway on of the few Artist Proofs that he has. It measures 16 x 20 and is signed by Tim.
How do I win this you ask ? Drop a comment with your favorite Bill Murray moment. Go to the top of the post above the picture and click on comments to leave a comment to have a chance at winning. Don't worry if your comment does not appear immediately I have to approve them before they are published. I will use the random number generator to pick a winner. ReplyDeleteMy favorite Murray moment is from Zombieland when Emma Stone confesses that she is a huge Murray fan. I love when actors/actresses play themselves in movies!

ReplyDeleteWolodarsky, go get the keys to that fishing boat, and throw them in the water. No, wait. They might have another set. Just blow it up.

when he steals the groundhog
ReplyDeleteThe scene in Rushmore when he jumps into the pool at the birthday party, smoking a cig and rocking those Budweiser shorts. That scene pretty much sums up his character in the movie and I love the 'I just don't give a fuck anymore' attitude he does so well.
ReplyDelete-Ryan Schroeder
Just the though of Bill Murray wearing that "Don't hassle me I'm a local" shirt in what about bob still cracks me up.
ReplyDeleteDaniel
My favorite Bill Murray moment is the scene in Rushmore where he's in the hospital, looking all kinds of despondent, smoking two cigarettes at the same time in the elevator.
ReplyDeleteGroundhog day
ReplyDeleteToaster in the tub.
Justin Badger
Bill's appearance in Coffee&Cigarettes is classic, and odd enough, to be a favorite Murray Moment!

Favorite Bill moment:
ReplyDeleteTrue Story: Bilk showing up unexpectedly to Shan-Gri La in Austin, TX during SXSW and getting behind the bar and bartending to patrons. And regardless of what you ordered, you were given a shot of tequila. It was also a friend of a friends bday, who asked Bill for a kiss as a present, and got a full blown kiss from him.
such a hard thing to do, but, i'd have to say his death scene in zombieland.
ReplyDelete3 years...well done! I'll never forget Bill slapping the basketball away from a group of unsuspecting kids in 'Rushmore'. Classy.
ReplyDeleteChad Fisher
What about Bob? That's one of my all time favorites! Baby steps...
ReplyDelete-David Holtkamp
Meatballs- "Kids are starving in China and you're walking around with a sombrero full of peanuts"! Classic humor from my youth! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
ReplyDeleteMurray singing "More Than This" in Lost in Translation. He does it all man, he does it all. My hero.
ReplyDelete-Matt N
When he's basically arguing over calling dibs on the girl with Owen Wilson in Life Aquatic. Happy three years btw, site rocks!
ReplyDeleteCindererlla Man from Caddyshack!
ReplyDelete- Craig Clark
Like many people said one of my favorite recent moments was his part in Zombieland. He made the movie in my opinion. I also like the stories I hear of him messing with people in real life (stealing French Fry's, playing peeaboo) only to tell them after "no one will ever fucking believe you." The man is a genious, and the range of all his different parts truely shows that. Congrats on three years!
ReplyDeleteAndrew Sigmund
Every moment of Ghostbusers.
ReplyDeletePond would be good you.
ReplyDeleteRich K
As Dr. Peter Venkman in Ghostbuster !! A classic !! "All right! This chick is TOAST!"
