Scott Campbell The Great Showdowns Book Giveaway Day 7 of the 12 Days of Christmas

Scott Campbell has been working on his Great Showdowns series for a long time, creating artwork showcasing some of cinema’s greatest (and sometimes lesser known, cult) rivalries. Scott’s Showdowns art has been showcased/sold at many different art shows across the country, and last year Gallery1988 finally held a solo “Great Showdowns” gallery show. This year, Titan Books and Gallery 1988  published a book of Scott’s work titled “The Great Showdowns”.

Since the beginning of time, there has been struggle. The epic clash of being against being. Han vs the green fellow. Chief Brody vs the very large shark. John McClane vs broken glass, and many, many more...

Scott Campbell’s acclaimed Great Showdowns series, showing strangely good- natured confrontations between his favorite movie characters, finally gets the book collection fans have been demanding!

Whether it’s Ripley vs the Alien Queen or Spinal Tap vs an undersized model of Stonehenge, these memorable moments of melee deserve to be celebrated. Behold, The Great Showdowns.

Like all the Titan Books it is a first class produced piece of art. The book is 144 pages measuring 7 x 7 inches and is a hardcover book. It will keep you and your friends entertained for hours trying to figure out the lesser known Showdowns.

Buy it HERE  Amazon has it super cheap at only $10.17

Now go to the top of the post above the picture and click on comments or scroll down (depends on how you see this post) to leave a comment as to what your favorite SHOWDOWN is to have a chance at winning the poster. Don't worry if your comment does not appear immediately I have to approve them before they are published. I will use the random number generator to pick a winner. Entries are limited to ONE PER PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD. Please leave your name with the comment, comments without names will not be accepted. Entries will be accepted until MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT DECEMBER 16, with the winner announced soon after.

  8. Greedo vs. Han Solo. And this matchup comes to mind mainly because about 45 minutes ago I ate lunch about 4 tables away from Harrison Ford! If you're in Omaha, Nebraska...keep your eyes peeled!
