Luke Chueh at Spoke Art San Francisco for book signing and new print release Sushi

Luke Chueh is a world renowned artist living and working in Los Angeles. His playful and disturbing characters, bears, have been featured as best selling vinyl figures, limited edition prints and have been the subjects of highly successful fine art exhibits at Corey Helford Gallery, Giant Robot, and Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles.

While at Spoke Art he will be selling his latest print set. The “Sushi” set includes two 11″ x 14″ giclees (each with an edition of 100) for $140/set (or $80 each).

Luke will be in attendance this Thursday night to sign copies of his new book, we will also have two new exclusive prints available as well as a small selection of original sketches. 

Any unsold signed books, prints and sketches left over from Thursday night will be made available to the public online on Friday.

Chuck Sperry will be making a very limited release of this poster — and two variant editions which he will be revealing later this week — on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at 10 am PST at ChuckSperry.net

When JC Hall asked him to do a poster for Patti Smith, Chuck jumped at the commission. He made this portrait of her, using a gold metallic base of patternization and layered colors over. The gold peeks through the final deep brown line art, and blues and reds were tinted with a semi-translucent yellow.

Tonight's Pearl Jam poster from Berlin by Sean Cliver and Ed Templeton

Pearl Jam are in Berlin Germany for the first of two shows tonight and the artists for the poster are Sean Cliver and Ed Templeton.

Poster says

World Premier Exclusive Tonight's blink 182 poster from Lucca Italy by Gregg Gordon

 blink 182 continue to grind their way through Italy tonight as the tour finds them getting big air in Lucca Italy. Gregg Gordon of Gigart.com created this dope poster for the show tonight. It is an an edition of 100 numbered and one of the best so far from this tour !!!

Exclusive World Premier The Fifth Element Movie Poster by Tim Doyle

Bottleneck Gallery is an idea started by a group of friends in New York. They have been doing movie screenings on Mondays and helping different charities. One thing led to another and they thought getting a gallery and doing shows to benefit local charities was an even better idea then the movies.

Once the gallery is done they will be able to seat 125 people and have the screenings there along with posters for each movie as well.

The movie this Monday is the classic The Fifth Element.

Proceeds from the screening and poster sale will benefit Paul's Brain Trust

Exclusive World Premier David Welker Further Summer Tour and Coney Island Poster. Along with Capital Theatre Poster

 Further is starting their summer tour tomorrow and David Welker did the poster for the tour along with the one for their two nights at Coney Island. Of course you get to see them first here. Each poster is 14 x 21 inches

The other posters are for the rebirth of The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester New York. The Capitol Theatre is back! Once one of rock and roll's most historic venues, The Capitol Theatre will make its triumphant return to Port Chester, NY in 2012. A former home to legendary acts such as The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, David Bowie and more, the Capitol Theatre is returning to its prestigious roots and is ready to reclaim its place in music history. They wanted David Welker to create a couple of posters highlighting the legendary acts that have graced their stage.
