Jonathan Burton Fargo Movie Posters

No comments:

Fargo is a modern classic, a black comedy directed by Joel and Ethan Coen that is filled will memorable performances and unique dialogue. Mad Duck Poster are excited to release their first licensed poster for Fargo, with art by Jonathan Burton!

The artist had the following to say about the poster:
“Hi Wade it’s Jerry, I… we gotta talk. Oh Jeez, it’s terrible.” From one of the most darkly comic scenes in Fargo I wanted to pay tribute to this ordinary 'home sweet home’ revealing details of the aftermath where something has happened to Jean. Jerry trying to wriggle out if this mess by rehearsing his distressed phone call.

The broken glass, the shower curtain and the telephone are the items that tell the story of everything that’s wrong with this ‘normal’ home and grieving husband. Be sure to check out the Easter Egg! The Little embroidery shows the kidnapper's hideout including blood!"
Jonathan brought his distinctive style to the project, creating posters that capture the mood of the unforgettable movie perfectly! Posters are on sale now at www.madduckposters.com/

From this vantage point you can observe the rapidly approaching threat even if your immediate area appears stable and safe. Oceans may seem impossibly expansive but these ecosystems, which our lives depend on, are at great risk from pollution, habitat destruction, and overfishing. Will we be lulled into complacency or will we heed the many signs of the approaching storm and fight like our lives depend on it?" - J.A.W. Cooper

James Flames Trey Anastasio Band Atlanta Poster Release

No comments:

James Flames latest poster for the Trey Anastasio Band, for their recent set of shows at the fabled Tabernacle in Atlanta.

The illustration is titled "Signals & Noises", featuring a guitar playing tiger in the wild. He’s got his amp dialed in, and his guitar is tuned up, and, well... he’s got like a MILLION pedals! The entire floor is filled with them, the bass drum is filled with them, they’re stacked on the drum heads, and on top of the amps. They’re everywhere, and they're admist the nature growing wildly all around. Everything is all connected, creating one solid current, one immersive flow: The music originates from the musician, it’s influenced and nurtured by nature, and then it’s communicated through electricity. For us. ROAR!

Every guitar pedal in this illustration is based on a real (and sometimes super obscure) pedal, many of which are in Trey's actual rig. How many can you recognize?

James also made a very small edition of "Dots" HoloFoil variant, which is pretty sick, to be honest.

Both versions will be available Tuesday, June 4th at 2pm Eastern at www.jamesflames.com
