This month marks the 4th Anniversary of the blog. I truly appreciate everyone that takes the time each day to stop by here and check out what's happening. The people that follow on Twitter who put up with non-poster related rants at times and crazy bantering with artists and others. All the people that LIKE the blog on Facebook and get a laugh out of some of the silly pictures I post along with the pictures of framed art. Thank you to all the fans, friends and artists for the support, love, encouragement, advice, suggestions and help as well. It really does mean a lot and I THANK YOU.
4 years ago this month Tim Doyle started Nakatomi. He set up a print shop in his garage and got busy making art. This passed year he moved his print shop into a dedicated studio area after out growing his garage. He now prints work for clients all over the world, designs posters and prints for a long list of clients as well. Next month Tim will have his second solo show of his work at Spoke Art in San Francisco. Tim will be at the opening of the show and promises to wear pants, something he feels very strongly about.
I think it was last year I mentioned to him hey you know we each started our thing at the same time. It never occurred to either of us until then and I suggested doing a giveaway. So here we are at our 4th ANNIVERSARY, traditional 4th Anniversary gifts for married couples are flowers and a modern Anniversary gift is Linen/Silk. Now we are not married in anyway and I dont think you guys want any flowers from us.
So here it is 2 gifts for you my faithful readers, one of Tim's prints from his Unreal Estate II show titled Good News, Everyone. Inspired by the landscape of Futurama this print is 24 x 18 and glows in the dark. You will receive one of the rare Artist Proof copies of the poster. Next up is a mystery tube of posters from Inside the Rock Poster Frame. So two people will get gifts from us.
Now go to the top of the post above the picture and click on comments or scroll down (depends on how you see this post) to leave a comment about what piece of UNREAL ESTATE you would like to see Tim take on next to have a chance at winning the print. Don't worry if your comment does not appear immediately I have to approve them before they are published. I will use the random number generator to pick a winner. Entries are limited to ONE PER PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD. Please leave your name with the comment, comments without names will not be accepted. Entries will be accepted until midnight EST Thursday January 31 that's almost two days to enter with the winner announced that night.
Tim Doyle - "UnReal Estate II" show opens Thursday, February 7th - 6pm-10pm at Spoke Art in San Francisco. Check the Facebook Event Page HERE
Here is what Tim said about the show-
"Unreal Estate 2 is the follow up from my sold out show from Feb 2012, also hosted at SpokeArt San Fran. The show last year was an absolute blast and my only regret was that I couldn't get to MORE locations than the time I had allowed. So, Ken at Spoke was gracious enough to invite me back for pt. 2 and I was able to put my spin on 10 more locations. The problem with doing a show like this is that there is always ANOTHER location you want to do- it's like a perpetual pop-culture motion machine. I hope everyone enjoys what I've done this time around, and I hope to see you all at the show! Thank you."Send Nakatomi some love on Facebook HERE
Thank you to Tim Doyle, Nakatomi and Ken at Spoke Art for providing the print for the giveaway. Good Luck to everyone that enters
OK TIMES UP NO ENTRIES
Congrats!! You run the best poster site out there.

Mr. Doyle should have one of the next pieces of UNREAL ESTATE be the Burns Manor. He could have The Hounds on the front lawn. The sky could be dark/rainy with lightning strikes. Smithers could be a shadowed figure holding an umbrella at front door. Mr Burns could be a shadowed figure in one of the windows. It'd be AWESOME!

I was thinking if not those maybe the Home Improvement backyard/fence or the studio shop with binford signs. How bout Waynes basement in waynes world. Last idea for my girls....Rapunzels tower scene in tangled, showing the tower in the middle of the secluded surroundings. With or without hair hanging down from hook in upper window. But if GID, the hair glowing like in the movie and skyline surround gid highlights would be awesome.

Firefly! Lets see Serenity in all her glory kicking up dust flying low along an alien Grand Canyon. Ode to the west, to scifi and to Firefly.
