Pearl Jam are in Los Angeles tonight for the first of two shows and Brad Klausen did the the poster for the show and it is badass with a great little political message.
I asked Brad about the design
Glad I decided to make this about Insignificance and not mind your manners... Insignificance is one of my favorite pearl jam songs, it almost sounds like it could be a Fugazi song with it's staccato guitar parts in the verses as well as with its lyrical content. I also love that it's an apology to the rest of the world for the evil actions of powers-that-be behind the curtain that run America... the lyrics express to the world that it's not all of us just this small group of evil fucks who are responsible for all this death and destruction. "Please forgive my hometown"See how Pearl Jam is spelled out in the crumbling ruins of the buildings ? Pretty damn cool.
Tickets are still on sale tonight for what will be another incredible show.
Brad will be selling his copies on Sunday November 24 at 10 AM PDT at http://www.artillerydesign.com/index.php
