David Welker had the great pleasure to work on projects for Phish and Widespread Panic at two beloved venues on the same weekend. The added honor of working on a triptych with two of his favorite artists, Emek and Marq Spusta has made this a very memorable year for David.
The Widespread Panic poster will drop first at 12 noon and the Phish Wrigley posters will begin via lottery at 12:30pm and remain open for an hour.
The Phish poster is a 4 layer screen print with petrol based inks that make aromatherapy a part of your life whether you like it or not. The layering of the inks makes for many more colors than 4 layers would suggest.
David's personal signed and numbered prints from the show edition will be available by lottery Wednesday starting at 12:30pm through Bottleneck Gallery for $50
Widespread Panic celebrated 30 years and their 50th sold out show at Red Rocks this past weekend. They asked David, Emek and Marq Spusta to mark this occasion with a representation of the bands journey as a vast timeline of civilization from its origins to its precarious heights to its apocalypse. David took on the middle aspect of the triptych with influence from Phlegm
This is a 6 layer screen print will heavy petrol based inks. His signed and numbered AP edition of 100 prints will be available Wednesday June 29th via Bottleneck Gallery at 12noon EST for $70
