Tonight's Deftones Poster from Boston by Jermaine Rogers

Deftones are pleased to announce they are once again working with renowned artist Jermaine Rogers on a poster series surrounding Deftones current North American tour. Limited to ten select dates throughout the tour, and one hundred posters per date, each print will be hand numbered and signed by Rogers.

Tonights poster for the Boston show is 29x21 inches, metallic and fluorescent inks on white stock

Jermaine's quote on the poster:
I've been losing myself in some of the artwork coming out of south america these days...especially the work coming out of buenos aires, argentina. its raw and textured and emotive...stripped down to bare, visceral moments.
in a sense, that's what Deftones music is about. moments.
this is where my head is right now.
'thank you' or 'sorry'...depending on how you feel about it.

I asked him more about how he created this one, here is what he said:

what can began as terrifying...can with realization and regularity become a sad display.
we all need.
we are all one....and emptiness aches for it's fill.
we are here for a while...this reality.
our closest friends and lovers are temporary.
they aren't guaranteed to us outside of this reality.

you are at once a part of everything around you...and terrifyingly alone.
you are very alone.
Jermaine will have some for sale very soon.
