Look of The Weird Golden Print & Original Artwork

One of the founding members of The Weird LOOK is releasing some new work at 1xRUN today. First is a print titled Golden plus he has four original paintings as well.

"This print is part of a cycle of six canvases I painted for a show in Mexico City. The cycle of six canvases is called: "... It was all green instead", and this is the canvas "Golden". Two of the six canvases are gone but the rest is still for sale as the original "Golden" canvas still is.

I had an idea about a post-apocalyptic setting in a fake jungle in an adventure-park with a native couple who is praying to a golden predator drone which is fallen from the sky." - Look

The print and paintings will be on sale Tuesday at NOON EDT at 1xRUN.com

The past several weeks The Weird; Nychos, DXTR, Cone, LOOK, HRVB, Vidam were in Detroit, Michigan brought in by Inner State Gallery for some shows at the gallery and to create some incredible murals. Here is the final mural they created and after these past weeks they have really left their mark on a city that needs a something good in it. They have brightened up the area in Eastern Market of Detroit with four incredible murals along with some smaller pieces around town as well. At the same time Nychos was being filmed for a documentary film about his work across the globe that is expected to be completed next year.

The shows at Inner State Gallery were a great exhibition of their talents in a smaller scale that people could purchase in the form of prints and original work, check them out HERE. Local people were in awe of the massive scale and skill The Weird possessed with just spray paint to create the art and everyone is looking forward to them coming back to add to the landscape again.

Nychos & The Weird Villains Mural Detroit Michigan

The Weird and Nychos recently completed another incredible mural in Detroit's Eastern Market. The Inside the Rock Poster Street Team was there to capture this stunning piece of work. This one is titled The Weird Villains and was painted by DXTR, Nychos, Cone, HRVB, Vidam and Look. Asked why the car has square brick wheels DXTR said " Because it's stupider". That is not to be taken the wrong way, they just like a good laugh and to have fun with the work they create. Inner State Gallery has had them in Detroit the past few weeks doing murals and have a showing of their work at the gallery.

1xRUN even has a huge selection of original work by each member of the crew for sale right now as well, check it out at 1xRUN.com

Now if you are in the area Vidam did a couple of separate pieces of his own as well but you gotta look for them.

LOOK High Passion, No Judgement Print Release

1xRUN is releasing another print today from a member of the German graffiti group The Weird. LOOK brings his talents across the pond for this special release.

"This piece started out as some graffiti out in some abandoned building round my corner in Berlin. Then I thought it might be pretty cool to use the face and make a piece of work out of it. I always wanted to paint some fresh female characters cause it is quite rare in my work. So I started to elaborate this.

This first iteration of this piece was originally a drawing I made for a show called: Style Needs No Colour. Some guys made a book with only black and white stuff and I contributed a black and white drawing and made another one for the show. Afterwards I scanned and coloured it and prepared it for screenprinting and added a feather and additional ink." - LOOK

High Passion, No Judgement print is a 18 x 24 Inches 3-Color Screen Print On 130lbs Cougar Fine Art Paper with a signed and numbered edition of 40

On sale today at NOON EDT at 1xRUN.com
