World Premier Exclusive 311 Tour Posters by The Silent Giants

 311 started their tour in Milwaukee last week and The Silent Giants did the tour poster for them. Here's the Midwest and South tour posters.  There will be four designs total that fit together to form one image.  There are 311 Midwest posters and 933 South posters (in 3 variant colors out of 311).  There will be 50 available at each show.  All are signed and numbered. There will also be another artist doing a few show specific posters as well.

Nychos Ghetto Bird Print Release Details

 "Since I've been dissecting characters humans or animals I came up with loads of different ideas. I normally study the skeleton anatomy and deform it so it fits to the shape of my style of the character I add the animal. For example, I did an illustration with owls for a customer and so I had to draw loads of owls. I reduced shapes so it would look like a simple cartoon character for kids t-shirts. While drawing I came up with the idea to dissect the owl as well and just show the skeleton. At this point of dissection concept I mainly painted skeletons and veins. The original was hand drawn and inked, then colored with Photoshop and the print was prepared with Illustrator." - Nychos

To be straightforward, purchasing these gilded Union Flag Lino prints will help me get a surgery I need immediately. You won’t go bankrupt in the United Kingdom over getting sick but in the good old U.S. of A, get sick and be treated like a third-class citizen. Due to some current circumstances, it seemed appropriate for me to dive into the Union Jack as opposed to the U.S. Flag considering the U.K takes care of its citizens through the NHS. I had fun creating these prints because I discovered the complexity of the basic math process to achieve a proper Union Flag. My art is what keeps me alive and moving, but I am one of the lucky ones…

Revealed The Dark Knight Rises Batman Mondo Movie Posters by Jock for SDCC

 Mondo will be debuting a TDKR poster by acclaimed artist Jock at their Comic-Con booth (#437) tomorrow. Watch @MondoNews for the announcement of exactly when it'll go on sale. It will be an edition of 375, it's 24" x 36", and it'll cost $45.

There's an alternative version, an edition of 250, that features the villains from the whole trilogy. That will NOT be sale - Warner Bros will be handing that out for fan appreciation.

English comic book artist Jock is one of the artists Mondo has tapped to create posters for their appearance at the San Diego Comic Con. The is the first The Dark Knight Rises poster revealed. Mondo will have 15 new posters there on sale at random times, good luck.

On Sale Details for Todd McFarlane vs Maxx242 Pearl Jam Copenhagen, Denmark Poster

There’s only three ways to score one of these amazing posters: at the Pearl Jam Concert in Copenhagen, Denmark July 10th, or online at the McFarlane Toys’ online store (store.spawn.com) or the Fighting 4 Dreams site (f4dstudios.com/store) on July 12th at Noon PST! Each poster sold online will be HAND-SIGNED by McFarlane and Maxx242 as well as sequentially numbered (1-200). This 8-color screen print measures 23″ wide X 35″ high and is printed on heavy weight 100 lbs. white acid-free archival paper for long-lasting durability! Only 200 posters are available online.

So here’s the backstory on how this collaboration came to be, remember back in 1998 when McFarlane and Pearl Jam collaborated on the Grammy nominated music video “Do the Evolution”. McFarlane and the Pearl Jam band members had a blast working together and the fans loved the final results. It was voted “Best Video” in Rolling Stone Magazine’s Annual Readers Poll, and in Spin Magazine’s Reader Choice Awards.
Fast forward to 2011, McFarlane and FSAS collaborated on the wildly popular Spawn inspired FSAS apparel line. From this business relationship an artistic partnership was formed between McFarlane and Maxx242, an all-round comic aficionado!

 This brings us to 2012 and the most recent collaboration between Pearl Jam, McFarlane and Maxx242. For the Copenhagen concert, Pearl Jam wanted to give its fans something really special and a mega-collaboration between two of their favorite artists was created.

 blink 182 are in Nottingham England tonight and Ames Bros have done their first ever poster for the group. 100 will be on sale at the show. Check the Ames Bros website in the following days as they should be selling the artist edition very soon.
