Back in 2006 Emek created a poster for the Ween & The Flaming Lips show at Red Rocks in Colorado. The image was inspired by James Earle Fraser's "End of the Trail" sculpture, it has since become an iconic symbol of Emek's work just as it did for James.
Now Prints on Wood has gotten together with Emek to do a timed release of the image on wood. Fine art wood print on 3/4" sustainable Birch with natural gloss finish allowing the natural wood grain to show through.
The print measures 10 x 10 in. (25.4 x 25.4 cm). Signed and numbered on the front by EMEK. All wood prints come with a keyhole carved out on the back for mounting.
“..after mankind has ruined the planet, a weary and battered old robot mourns atop the last great tree stump, but growing out of his medicine bag are the seeds to start over…”
Timed release ending Monday, December 8th at 12 pm PST
