The People's Printshop presents:
New prints by Audrey Pongracz and Nicole Gustafsson

Late last year, Spoke Art debuted our latest ongoing project, The People's Printshop, a new website who's goal it is to offer affordable limited edition art from some of the best contemporary artists around.

The project works like this:

Every week they debut a new print by a new artist. This 8" x 10" print is available for only 14 days to anyone who orders. Once that 14 day window is closed, we count the number of orders we've received, then print and hand number accordingly!

The best part? Each print is available for only $20 each!

For an extra $10, they'll even mail you your new print framed and ready to hang!

This is a great way to start or grow your art collection, stay tuned for a new $20 print every week!

Check out this week's offerings here: http://www.thepeoplesprintshop.com

And remember, each print is only available for a limited time, once the counter hits zero that print will never be made again!

Audrey Pongracz The Gift Print On Sale Today

No comments:

1xRUN are excited to welcome back the talented Audrey Pongracz as she returns to 1xRUN with her first canvas gallery wrap "The Gift". A very personal piece for Audrey, she will also be hand-embellishing each piece individually adding depth and making each piece unique. Read on for much more from Audrey Pongracz.

"The piece was created for the group show "Blood", which was the first show for the PRISMA artist collective. The idea I guess you can say is derived from the saying "Blood, Sweat and Tears". Pouring all of yourself out, and also allowing yourself to be a recipient. Giving and receiving the real Gifts in life. The execution is a pretty basic process, A sketch first, then working in thin layers of oils, usually around 5. From start to finish this piece took about 3 weeks to complete. " - Audrey Pongracz

The Gift is 10 x 13 x 1.5 Inches Hand-Embellished Archival Print on Cradled Canvas Gallery Wrap with a signed and numbered edition of 25

On Sale today at NOON EST at 1xRUN.com

Beautiful Monstrosities Show featuring Audrey Pongracz and April Segedi covered

No comments:

Last night in Royal Oak, Michigan at 323 East Gallery they had the opening of Beautiful Monstrosities and the ITRPF Street Team was on hand. Besides being equally talented (and equally beautiful), artists Audrey Pongracz and April Segedi both share a passion for certain thematic motifs that appear frequently in their respective works - the dark underside of images drawn from fantasy and from the Victorian idealization of the female. It is a powerful and ambiguous theme to be sure - a dreamscape with poison, threatening shadows, stifled passion, imperiled innocence, and a hushed mood of desperation. In "Beautiful Monstrosities" the painter and the sculptor will unveil faces that seem comforting and familiar at first to the viewer ... but look closely at each piece and you will discern that masks are slowly vanishing.

Exhibition runs from July 9th through August 10th

Contact 323East to purchase any of the art.
