Jimi Hendrix Experience Max Dalton Poster Release Details

No comments:

Dark Hall Mansion is so very excited to share one of their absolute favorite releases ever, Max Dalton's "The Jimi Hendrix Experience." Our limited edition numbered prints for Max's simply singular and unique take on Jimi Hendrix must be seen.

Dark Hall Mansion, under license from Authentic Hendrix, will release 3 very special, limited, and select edition prints of Max's interpretation of Jimi Hendrix within a particularly intimate and quite unusual setting. Max's vision is informed and shaped not only as artist but as a longtime guitar player himself, his admiration and respect for Jimi's music and influence, both as guitarist and artist, is also equally undeniable. We think Max's own words speak quite eloquently to Jimi and his unparalleled music:

"Many years later I realized his supreme sound is not in his guitar, or in his amps or even on his exclusively made effects. There’s something on him that will always remain absolute. Still don’t know what it is and, as far as I know, nobody still could match him. So, since that magic can’t be drawn, I chose to make this poster, showing all his paraphernalia, just to validate my many years of research. To sound close to him I’ve given up long time ago."

Research he did. Max's vision of Jimi before a wall of guitars, all specifically known to have been owned and played by Jimi, is simply fantastic. From the faded wallpaper and still burning classic axe to Jimi's gear and stylish hat, it's soulful, the very essence of Jimi.

"The Jimi Hendrix Experience" limited edition prints go on sale next Wednesday, October 29th on Dark Hall Mansion's dedicated store page here: http://www.darkhallmansionstore.com/ at a random time between 9:30 AM PST and 12 PM PST.

"The Jimi Hendrix Experience" Standard Edition of 295 $65
"The Jimi Hendrix Experience" Variant-Edition of 35 Green  $100
"The Jimi Hendrix Experience" Variant-Edition of 35 Blue   $100

All editions measure 28" x 20"

Dark Hall Mansion is honored to continue working with Authentic Hendrix, the official licensor for the Jimi Hendrix estate. Long passionate about Jimi's music and legacy we look forward to releasing wonderful and unusual works that focus not only on Jimi, but specific songs, albums, and of course, Jimi's epic live concert moments.

PangeaSeed Presents: HOME - A Fine Art Print Suite for Threatened Ocean Habitats

No comments:

It is with great pleasure I am able to share with you the World Premiere Exclusive release details for PangeaSeed's 2014 Print Suite.

For 2014, PangeaSeed is pleased to announce HOME: A Fine Art Print Suite for Threatened Ocean Habitats. Drawing from the concept and success of Sea of Change, our 2013 print suite project focusing on endangered oceans animals, HOME aims to address and raise greatly needed awareness for threatened ocean habitats.

home - /hõm/ - noun: a place where something normally or naturally lives or is located.

Highlighted ocean habitats will include coral reefs, open ocean, deep sea, hydrothermal vents, the Southern Ocean, sea mounts, kelp forests, sea grass beds, estuaries, sea shores, mangroves and salt marshes.

Featuring new original artworks from 14 of today's top and most sough-after contemporary artists including Curiot, Kozyndan, Chuck Sperry, Nosego, Munk One, James Eads, Dabs Myla, Dan Mumford, James Flames, Max Dalton, Joshua Budich, Craig Drake, Tim Doyle and Marko Manev – together we aim to save our seas through the power of art and imagination.

For collectors who already know they want the entire HOME suite of 14 prints, they are offering 35 complete, matched-numbered sets for sale for a limited time. Recipients will not only receive all 14 of the amazing fine art prints created for HOME, PangeaSeed is also including a very special free print created specifically for the project by a guest supporting artist that will only be available to subscribers of the print suite. All complete suite purchases will be shipped out on a quarterly basis during 2014, as the prints get released.

With coral reefs, rain forests and global fish stocks estimated to be in full collapse by mid-century, the threat of extinction greatly affects us all. Without healthy oceans, a healthy life on Earth becomes a significant challenge and it’s going to take a global movement of awareness, education and action to bring about a sea change necessary to encourage citizens and governments to protect and sustain what cannot protect itself.

At PangeaSeed they believe art and activism can spark positive change within individuals and their communities. No matter how large or small the effort, we are all morally responsible to take action and make better decisions for future generations and the natural world.
