Foo Fighters Kansas City Print By Gary Houston Release

Foo Fighters had legendary poster artist Gary Houston design the print for the recent concert in Kansas City.

The poster is 18” x 26” 5 color silk screen on 80# neenah venus violet cover stock.

115 artist edition

8 foil artist edition and according to Gary they have a slight bend in the top right hand corner. It’s the way the stock was shipped and he was between a rock and a hard place… had to use it, very minor, but he wants to be honest on the condition of them.

It's always great to see new work from Gary Houston who has been in the poster game as long as anyone. His work is always unique and fresh with a style all his own. He did the posters for next couple of 311 shows happening in Portland and Seattle.

Gary Houston Motorcycle Free Friday Poster Giveaway

Last weekend Beauty of the Beast Motorcycle Art Show opened at Galerie F in Chicago and it was curated by John Otterbacher of Official Limited. He said he let's give one of your readers something from the show. John gave me the choice and the first one that came to mind was the great Gary Houston print Passing Side Suicide.

Gary Houston of Voodoo Catbox has been doing posters for many years but does not get the attention he deserves for his talent. So I thought this would be a good opportunity to get his work in someone's hands and for folks to see his work that may not be familiar with it. The print is 19 x 25 with a signed, numbered and embossed edition of 115.

The Beauty of the Beast Motorcycle Art Show Presented by Officially Limited & Galerie F Exclusive Preview

Just because it's February out there and more than likely there is a foot or more of snow on the ground does not mean you can't get in the wind and enjoy some motorcycle art this weekend in Chicago. John Otterbacher of Officially Limited and Galerie F are pleased to present their next collaborative event. Beauty of the Beast is a small group art show centered around the theme of motorcycles and motorcycle culture, including the bikes themselves, gangs or clubs, pinup girls and the concepts of freedom and adventure. Artists will draw from their personal experiences whether that is from being around motorcycle culture or their relationship to it from a distance through media.

Featuring screen prints and original art from over 20 international artists.

On view at Galerie F through February 20 2014. After having been to Galerie F it is a great place for a show. Huge open area with high walls and lots of space so you won't be cramped in a little closet sized area like most so called gallery's.
