Led Zeppelin Rock & Roll Kii Arens Free Friday Poster Giveaway

Kii-Arens-Led-Zeppelin-IV-Rock-and-Roll-Poster-Rose-McGowan-2

Led Zeppelin re-released a bunch of remastered albums lately, namely I-III and I thought hey I got this killer poster by Kii Arens that he did for the Flood Gallery and the 40th Anniversary of the IV album. Plus it has a very sexy Rose McGowan on it. Seemed like a good one for this weeks giveaway.

Kii's poster in which he took the shots of Rose, is a recreation of the infamous Shark Episode that happened at the Edgewater Inn located in Seattle back in 1969. Also called the mudshark incident this story is one of the biggest ever in rock n roll with no one really giving a definitive accounting of just want happened with the groupie . You can read about it HERE and decide for yourself.

Kii's poster is a 24 x 18 matte hi-gloss lithograph that looks like a huge photo.

Now go to the top of the post above the picture and click on comments or scroll down (depends on how you see this post) to leave a comment about your favorite Led Zeppelin song if you want to have a chance at winning the poster. Don't worry if your comment does not appear immediately I have to approve them before they are published. I will use the Random Number Generator to pick a winner. Entries are limited to ONE PER PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD. Please leave your name with the comment, comments without names will not be accepted. Entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM PST Saturday June 7 with the winner announced on Sunday.

Thank You again to Kii Arens and Colin for the poster and good luck to everyone that enters.

Battle of Evermore - hearing it will always take me back to high school cruising in the summer. : )

Also, I got married at the Edgewater Hotel! Although the consummation involved no mudsharks.

    Thanks for the chance.

Beautiful litho! I've heard about this crazy shark story. WOW! It's hard to pick just one song because I love Zeppelin. It's between Kashmir and When the Levee Breaks.

Thanks for giving away awesome posters.

Favourite LZ track is Black Dog. Pure energy, sex, opens up a classic album and sounds as fresh today as it did in 1971.
