World Premier Exclusive Tim Doyle solo show UnReal Estate II Prints Downton Abby

"What is a Weekend?" 16x20 Edition of 150
Tim Doyle on the Print-
Yes, I have created a Downton Abbey themed print. I will not be mocked. This show has everything I can't stand- period drama, rigid class structure, and the intricacies of waiting tables and preparing food. But god help us all, it's gripping.

"I Ache With Embarrassment" 18x24 Edition of 150
It's close now...can you feel it? The new series of Arrested Development is almost upon us. This is a glorious time.

"Magic Box" 18x24 edition of 150
I fought Doctor Who. I fought hard. And I lost

"Can't Take the Sky" 18x24 Edition of 175

Firefly, like Arrested Development and Futurama described above, was a victim of Fox's content being ahead of it's time, and bad scheduling.

"Damn Good" 16x20 edition of 150.
Like a lot of the shows I've chosen to depict in this series, Twin Peaks also ended too early, leaving us wanting more.  But unlike the relatively 'tied up' ending of Deadwood, Twin Peaks ended on a hell of a cliffhanger, followed by a movie that instead of resolving the storyline, left us with only more questions. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

"Worst Print Ever" 16x20 Edition of 200

This print was originally created to be an exclusive release for NYCC back in October. Luckily we have some copies left over so that we can offer them as part of this release. Last year's show had 9 prints + 1 giveaway, and this year's show is 10 plus a giveaway, including this one.

Spoke Art is proud to present, "UnReal Estate II" the follow up solo show by Austin-based illustrator and screen printer Tim Doyle. Last year, Doyle changed the pop culture landscape, quite literally, with his expressive re-interpretations of famous TV show locations.

For 2013 the artist returns to their San Francisco gallery space to once again remap our collective consciousness though a whole new series of re-imagined iconic pop culture locations crafted through the medium of hand made screen prints and original pen and ink illustrations.

From Futurama’s Planet Express to the Twin Peaks‘ diner, no TV show location is safe from Doyle’s unique vision. Stalwarts such as the Simpsons, Arrested Development and the Sopranos make appearances once again this year, accompanied by some unexpected surprises including Mr. Rogers, Dr. Who and even Downton Abbey.
