I get lots of people sending me info on "art" they are producing some good some not so good. So when I saw the email from Chad about this Gerbil Detective Agency I had to share it. Because it's cute, original, and not rehashing another pop culture icon. A new artist with an original idea, I'm down with it.
Gerbil Detective Agency, the first print in Kathryn Spivey's Gerbil Adventures series, will be released on Tuesday, April 16th, at 2PM EST.
The print is reproduced from an original oil on canvas painting by the fine folks at Giclee Today on their top-quality, 450gsm Lyve canvas with a Timeless Satin finish. This paper most closely matches the original canvas painting. Check out the detail pics - the finished print looks hand-painted.
The print will be available in an edition of 25 hand-signed, hand-numbered prints at the introductory price of $75. Insured domestic shipping is $15, and insured International shipping is $40.
There will also be a single print available on canvas stretched over 1.5" bars and ready to hang. This version will cost $200 + $25 domestic shipping, $60 International. It will be numbered 1/1.
The original artwork for this piece has been sold, but originals for upcoming releases in the series will be available at a later date.
