"Hana Kiba", with roughly means "Flower Fang" is a variant of the David Gray and Amos Lee poster Erica Williams did a few months ago. She wanted to experiment with some colors she doesn't normally work with and she is really pleased with how it turned out.
The variant is printed on Curious Metallics Ice Gold, a soft tinted metallic paper with a gentle sprinkling of fine gold glitter. It adds a new level of warmth to "Hana Kiba" by playing off the red tints and orange.
Curious metallic paper is and soft luxurious to the touch paper with a luminescent sheen and glittery alloy affect that just makes you happy to look at. Sparkly! It's also made in facilities that support the environment by being FSC and Green-E certified. Thoughtfully made and gorgeous? Win-Win!

Letterpress is amazing. Erica absolutely loves it and will tell anyone who asks (and those who don't) how it is her favorite kind of printing. She brought these with her to MondoCon and the remaining copies are on sale now.

Erica's final act as the 2014 Surly Brewing Artist of the Year was to create a label for their anniversary beer. Nein was born, a German ale. The label is based off the number 9, ideas of luck, and traditional German heraldry. Also Todd, the brewmaster, is as big a cat person as Erica, so she went with lions and gave them nine eyes.
