Band Of Horses are landing in Wisconsin tonight at Eagles Ballroom, then again Sunday night at the Orpheum Theater in Madison. Both shows will have a limited number of these “Unleash The Dogs” posters by Jim Evans / TAZ to commemorate both events.
The size of the poster is 18x24, and it’s a 4-color silkscreen featuring two split fountains. It is printed on #100 Cougar paper. Jim will have 40 signed and numbered pieces to sell through Limited Runs www.limitedruns.com and his new upcoming TAZ store.
Jim had this to say about the poster:
This is the second poster in a row I’ve done for Band Of Horses. I love to do work for them because it gives me a chance to get away from my more comfortable output of psychedelic sci-fi robots, androids, aliens, and general insanity, for something more grounded in American symbolism. Unleash the dogs seems like a much more apt metaphor for current events than it did when I finished it a month ago.
