Jay Ryan is super excited that autumnal weather has finally arrived in Chicago, and decided to celebrate with 64 new animals swooping upward toward your ceiling. This Clean new print used nine screens and measures 24" by 36".
Jay was excited to be included in the new Silent Aviary II show at Austin's MONDO Gallery, and thought he'd celebrate this bird which is native to much of the US, including Texas. Says Jay "I have many vivid memories of interaction with these highly territorial birds from my childhood, and wanted to celebrate their single-minded determination to keep you away from wherever they live." He made archival giclée prints of the drawing, in an open edition, which are signed and dated 2018. Paper measures 8" by 10".
