Featuring new work from Aimee Parrott, Foundry, MissBugs and Sten & LexThe Power of Portrait’ will inspire questions of identity, biography, diversity and fame, which lie at the heart of portraiture and how the artist interprets their subject.

The most powerful and recognisable image to the human eye is the human face. A portrait is an artistic representation of a person in which the face and its expression is predominant. The intent is to show a likeness or capture the qualities, personality or mood of the subject.
